Also, I'm not saying it's wrong or anything but I wonder if Em will ever come out of the closet cause it's getting pretty obvious

That's not a Detroit thing though. They work WITH Detroit charities to help out, and they're based in Detroit, but their work spans across the U.S. They don't do anything for Detroit that they don't also do for Chicago, LA, NY, Houston, or wherever else. Don't get me wrong, it's an act of generosity, its a great thing, but as far as anything exclusive to helping "his" city, there's nothing I've ever heard of, other than promoting a dealership, after they donated a Chrysler to his daughter for her 16th birthday, if you want to count that as a contribution to the city.

"Exclusive" is bs. Helping your city is helping your city.

I mean anything exclusive to Detroit. He doesn't do anything for Detroit that he doesn't do for other cities.

I don't see how that's a bad thing? Because you're basically saying he helps too much...

I think the Marshall Mathers Foundation helps people in Detroit only? if not, so much the better.

Not saying it's a bad thing at all, I already covered that in the post when I said it's a great thing. But the topic at hand is about what he does for HIS city, not what he does for his country. Just because Detroit happens to be a city on the list doesn't mean he goes above for them. He does the same for them as he does for everyone else. My point (And assumably Esham's) is, what does Eminem do to show all this love he claims to have for his city? No contributions to Detroit, that aren't made for everyone.

Here's an example. Suh obviously doesn't have Eminem money, and has no ties to Detroit, other than playing football. When a local high school had all their gear stolen Suh went around, talked to a couple Lions players, and bought the team all new gear (Including shoes). That's the sort of thing that should be exclusive to your city. Detroit is Eminem's crutch, that he leans on to help his own image. When the Lions were a laughing stock, Eminem was pictured on the Dallas sideline, with Jerry Jones, at a Cowboys game. When the Lions started turning things around Eminem was on national tv professing his love for them, talking about how he has always been a diehard fan...Open a Google tab, and find me a picture of Eminem on Detroit's sideline. Good luck.

Whoa @cabled said as he's a Detroit er. I actually don't know shamE much exp his long term beef with Marshall. Thanks for the info. He really helps Detroit a lot more than Marshall does according to you. But get the fact right that he's a jealous MFer after all. How could he say Eminem made people hate Detroit? Just Don't Give A f---

Esham gets no respect in Detroit from anyone. He is a washed up has been who is just mad that Em didn't sign him to shady back in the day. It's not em's job to put everyone on from Detroit. Esham is desperate for attention since he is broke as f---. He couldn't even sell out a show in his hometown if he tried.

d---. Props, I can't believe anybody cares that much about Esham to write multiple paragraphs defending him.

He definitely has reason to be jealous. Eminem is arguably the most successful rapper of all-time. And I agree, Eminem picks his battles wisely. He never responds to someone he knows he might lose to. No way in h--- he'll acknowledge this in any way.

    1. 47% of Detroit Adults are literally, Illiterate. (google it)
    2. Pictures and videos from there look like 3rd-world tier s---.
    3. Comparing the things Esham has done to "help" his city compared to Eminem is stupid. one has 120 million+ dollars. the other - I would be surprised if he could scrape together 6 digits.
    4. PsychoKid has the most broken English I have ever read, ever. How has nobody pointed this out?

Now with these points in mind - I'm not saying i'm right or wrong, I'm half a world away from Detroit. But, I am saying people dismissing @cdbleb 's points should reconsider. In a city that has 47% illiteracy in adults, they clearly need some help. What's Esham gonna do? I can't really think of much, he can donate some money to charities/whatever else but his money wont get him far.
In a city that Eminem grew up in and "loves" you'd think that maybe he could spend 1 of his 120+ million to build, say, a reading and writing school?

I also wouldn't say Esham is jealous. I'd say it's pretty clear frustration. His life's work got him to where he is and instead of being able to help his s----hole of a city (no offence people from the D) he's stuck still grinding. While Eminem sits on an Ivory Throne being a social recluse with his 120+ million dollars.
