May 11, 2016 bruh he has like 23405t734057134058- songs with 23520598234 styles the ones lets say, for example, i think The Promise is one of his best written songs. but lets say I have an affinity for the more pop-oriented thug music and while that doesn't negate how good The Promise, that would mean I'd be more inclined to listen to a song like Proud of Me more often which ultimately would have it ranked higher on a list like this

Reworking Roue 94's "My Love," he spins a euphoric hook that's part anti-snitching PSA, part ode to Gucci. The song itself is entirely a love song though and features some of Thug's more endearing euphemisms. He goes from whispering "take care of that p----, scared to go in it like woods" to doing the hoochie coochie and havin a private party, bently boolin by the end. My favorite bit is definitely: I'm losing my voice I can not speak, right, every d--- nightWe get a kick out it like Spike Whenever I do not see her she wanna fight I just wanna hold her like a mic No Tyson, I wont one night, I wanna wife it And buy it everything that it desires By the end of that passage he's slurring every word into the next in a dizzying fashion and it's just so d--- good. The sweeping piano for this tarck sets a dramatic backdrop for Thug and, as usual, he raps his alien raps with no care in the world. Keep it Leave Discovering this song was an accident. And now its in my top 30 favorite Thug songs ever. That it self speaks volumes about his discog. I was watching a vlog Metro posted a whiiiile ago where Thug was listening to the I Mean/Live from the Gutter beat and out of nowhere it went into a snippet of this song (which became my avy for a minute). I thought it was only a snippet but a quick youtube search and guess what? It leaked like every other f---ing Thug song ever. It's such a good song dawg. Beside the obvious bits like the "metro" call outs or the entire "u dig.....i dig" bit, that little melody for "I don't wanna play unless I'm on a bar" had me playing the song back for like a month straight. I don't know where he gets these melodies from. 27. Red Star One of the most underrated leaks and a complete b-----r. He's Michael Jackson's Thriller, you're just a caterpillar. Keep it Going I was an advocate for this song since Tha Tour first dropped, but it got overlooked for the longest time. It's a breathtaking how-to-rap clinic that's beyond words to be honest. Every line becomes a quotable, every one of the 100 voices he has finds its home in the surreal beat, His diamonds are shinin like corn on the cob and he gets respect whenever he lands in New York like Bobby Shmurda so back the f--- up. Also, imagine being Thugs kid.
