Valve uses crowdfunding for their Dota 2 tournament prize pool and it took over 24 hours to fund 2 million USD, but they also use stretch goals like adding cosmetics and features In 56 days the community has funded 13 million USD I hope they can get a lot of money with this, but they need good stretch goals
Jun 26, 2015 I've been a Shenmue fan since the DC days. h---, I still own my DC and both copies of the games. When Yu Suzuki presented Shenmue 3, I was at a loss of words, beyond happy. On another note, while I do not think we will reach 11m, we will hit a d--- good number by the end.

Jun 26, 2015 Yeah, all that 13 million USD+ go to tournament players, well unless their organisations take cuts and stuff, but anyways. But that 13 million USD is only 25% of what is funded. The rest goes to Valve.
