Dec 3, 2015 Um, we are. But if we compare the number of "Christian extremists" compared to the number of muslim extremists its far from equal. Also, the religions are so different, why would we be equally critical of both? They have different beliefs.
Dec 3, 2015 Are we though? As a society, we tend to turn a blind eye to a mass shooters religion when it's a non Muslim. It doesn't fit the narrative of the stereo typical terrorist so people tend to not care as much. I don't think either Christianity or Islam promotes violence so I don't think we should be critical of either to begin with. I'm just saying, if we're going to be critical of Islam due to the minority of "radical Muslims," we should do the same with other religions. That's not reality though.
Dec 3, 2015 Well when someone gets bullied at school who goes and kills people, his religion doesn't really matter. But when its made clear that religion is being used as the motivation for killing, that's when it's important. I'm not critical of Islam because of some stupid people. I'm critical of Islam for what is explicitly stated as just in their holy book.
Dec 3, 2015 Islam isn't the only religion that has questionable statements in their holy book though. Everyone interprets religion differently. The KKK was a self-proclaimed Christian organization and they believed their beliefs were rooted in their religion. Dec 3, 2015 I'm not going to try to act like I'm an expert on Islam because I'm not. I'm sure @Koolo would be better suited to address this but what I know as fact is that there are 1.62 billion Muslims world wide. A vast majority of them practice their religion in peace. If Islam promoted violence, I don't know how that's our reality.
Dec 3, 2015 thats false, i got into an argument with someone on reddit, and to my surprise he "quoted' translated lines and its WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY off but no, Quran forbid you to fight anyone unless they are at war with you what people do to help their propaganda is take a line like "k--- all infidels" ... and remove the context from it..when the context is "if you get invaded by infidels and they fight you, then k--- them"
Dec 3, 2015 Shooters. Syed Farook and a women who I'm now hearing might be his wife were shot and killed. They were dressed in "assault style" clothing and both had assault rifles and hand guns. There was supposedly a third gunmen but that's not confirmed. They detained someone who was running away at the scene where cops shot the other two suspects but they don't know if that person was involved in the shooting or not.

Dec 3, 2015 Apparently the place they shot up, there was some party going on there and there was a dispute earlier in the party which lead to someone storming out. Police haven't connected the dots yet but that could have been the motive but they aren't ruling out terrorism yet. What I find strange though is that there were multiple shooters. I'd understand if the guy acted alone and shot up the place but he didn't. Not to mention the weaponry, assault style clothing, makes it seemed more planned, you know?

Dec 3, 2015 Highly highly doubt it's a terriost s--- like this happens in San Bernadino all the time it's probably some druggie. A few months ago me and some friends went to a concert there. After it was done we were on our way home and went to get some gas after that we decided to get some food but it was late at night and everything was closed. We head back to the gas station to see multiple cop cars. Some guy tried to hold up the gas station right after we left smh. San Bernadino is a baaaad area. It's known to be ghetto and filled with druggies.
