That is most likely the case. He found himself in deep s--- when he realized the foundation of his probe was basically a slimy DNC-funded dossier that somehow managed to make its way through a politicized FBI before a FISA court and was then used to justify spying on people that were part of a presidential campaign. What I said before wasn't asinine at all. Mueller had carte blanche to look into literally anything related to literally anyone he wanted. The FISA court gave him basically unlimited power to do whatever he wanted and after over a year he still couldn't find anything. Hence the desperate, self-evidently political timing of these indictments. I thought the 12 Russian nationals were guilty of buying up Facebook ads? What a crock of s---.
