Nov 5, 2017 Exactly why guns are the problem, there are crazy people in every country - but the accessibility of gun in the US makes it easy for crazy people do to crazy s---. How hard is it to grasp?
Nov 5, 2017 I'm just at a loss for words man. How do we stop the media from making these dudes famous? Maybe it's just because of the part of the country I was raised in it but I don't understand why anyone would possibly need to own an assault rifle and I don't see how we're ever going to pry them from people unless it's from their cold, dead, white hands.
Nov 5, 2017 well if I was a respected journalist who's job was to create stories for money i'd post a list of the names of every victim along with a photo, then the shooter i wouldn't ID and let internet users dig around to see it for themselves. the result would be that 90% of people watching coverage take away the names/images of victims, "immortalizing" them and not the shooter. maybe then, the mentally ills will just "i dont want to make people famous f--- that i hate people" and reconsider emptying mags into crowded places????
Nov 5, 2017 This is day 309 of 2017 and the US has had 377 mass shootings so far this year. Source: massshootingtracker.org and @ igorvolsky on twitter.
Nov 5, 2017 Fear is an extremely powerful and profitable tool. Keep people in a constant state of fear and you can control them and their opinions. It's the business model of fox news and the GOP.
Nov 5, 2017 This is going to continue to happen until something is done about the accessibility of guns in this country. It’s tragic but it’s hard for me to feel much of anything anymore when it’s this frequent. Just another day in the U.S.
Nov 5, 2017 I wish that was the case so much. But news outlets are still to make money and the outlet who IDs the shooter is the outlet who gets all the clicks. There's no way every major outlet would agree to do this which is why it's so frustrating. There's no morals to this s---.
Nov 5, 2017 Honestly, I normally feel the same way as you, but sometimes if I'm already in a weird mood it hits me harder. It's just f----- that it happens often enough where I can say "sometimes when this happens" like it's a normal f---in thing.
Nov 5, 2017 i get that, but i feel like in this day and age, some media outlet could do what I suggested, then other media outlets/internet SJW's will pick up on it and maybe question whether or not that's the way to go in future. I know it's not entirely journalists fault, but don't those fuckheads have morals like "perhaps i shouldn't make this piece of s--- famous?" like i'd be photoshopping d----s in their mouths and stuff if i got their pic not jumping to "holy s--- better be first to post this online"
Nov 5, 2017 Saw the Antifa pics he posted on social media. Crazy that a civilian came out of his house and engaged him in a gun fight and then chased him when he tried to drive away. Also if you’re dishonorably discharges, you cannot legally buy a gun. Plus that looks like an SBR which requires ATF stamp that takes 9-12 months long.
Nov 5, 2017 I think it's definitely possible. More possible than banning guns under this administration, at least. I just don't get why people care about guns so much that they're not willing to be like, "OK, well maybe we should try not having guns to see if less people get murdered" (obviously politics and laws don't work like that lol but you know what I mean). I also don't have a frame of reference as to what an assault rifle means to a gun owner.
Nov 5, 2017 The same style of gun that was used in this attack can be bought on eBay right now for $109.99. #America
Nov 5, 2017 Like if mentally disturbed white guys were listening to Yeezus and decapitating people with the CD and they called for a Yeezus ban I'd turn that s--- in to the police real quick. Is that what an AR15 is to gun owners? Is that their Yeezus? Is banning guns for rednecks like telling me I can't listen to Yeezus anymore? Does it bring them that much visceral pleasure? I seriously don't get this hobby man.
Nov 5, 2017 This is why we need a gun registry. Every year, you have to go register your firearm(s) and pass a background check. If you don’t register your guns in a certain amount of days, a warrant for your arrest is sent out. That’s how we weed out people like this. Someone can pass a background check one year & then the next year or 5 years later be diagnosed with some mental illness or appear unstable.
Nov 5, 2017 it's not trust me, it's my favorite album of all time. I'm just trying to find a frame of reference for gun owners that's relatable to me.
