Nov 5, 2017 Gun ownership is deep rooted into the foundation of America. A country founded on revolution, the 2nd amendment is seen as vital to ensuring the continuance of this nation. The civil war, to some, showed the importance of having citizens that can arm and defend themselves against a government perceived to be rouge. For them gun ownership isn't a hobby, it's a protection of their rights to defend themselves from both criminals and the government. To them, disarmament is to violate their constitutional rights and a step closer to the failure of personal freedom and democracy. Basically gun ownership is founded on fear; fear of personal harm, fear of losing one's freedom, and fear of government corruption.

Feel like even if 1 state did a trial or test, people from all over USA would be screaming "YOU WONT GET UR GUNS BACK!!!" i don't eitheir, i think it's brain damage or re-----tion. I have close friends who's dad is ex-military (now works private security) who has done some very f---ing cool s---. and that's about all I can say on the topic. Anyways, they don't have a single fully automatic AR in their house even though their dad can legally own one. They have like, i'd say close to probably 100 bolt action/single shot/sniper rifles (i'm not some f---ing commando c---- so nobody get their vagina bloody if i use incorrect gun terms ok). They go hunting maybe once per year, my mates have their gun licenses and everything is cool. Like they don't even love guns as much as what i see in america. They also think fully automatic guns are third world tier trash and the only people who use them are "cod fanboys" or "desert dwelling shitskins". inb4 "OZTRAYA IS DIFFERUNT!!!"

That's another thing I don't get is why people don't think a document written 250 years ago might need some updating. but whatever the constitution is trash anyway they should get 50 cent to rewrite the hook
