    i don't think anyone is more aware than drake of his brand, especially because OVO is a very calculated brand u know? a lot of people involved

    views did numbers, but he knows word on the street is that it was mid

    He's one of the most aware artists out imo, he definitely knows it wasn't up to par.

    Also QM was involved with 4 tracks, so yeah I trust it.

    As underwhelming as Views may have been, I hope he doesn't abandon the sound entirely. Controlla and One Dance are among the best songs to come out this year.

    PND wrote almost all of legend so like, even..EVEN aid QM was not involved with 4 tracks it's like..there's still more ghostwriters playing the field than just him

    I think his goal with Views after the HLB blow up was to make the biggest album possible so in that sense it was obviously very successful.
    I'm just going based off what we know, I'm sure if there were more writers/references we'd have found out by now.

    I don't think he thought that man, sometimes when you're too close to a project you can't really evaluate it objectively.

    This is something he put 2 years in to, and switched it up in the final stages completely.

    And it's not like Views was trash, it was still a 6.5/10 album. Which is just mid.
