    Definitely not his best of the year but its at minimum good. When you say auto pilot I think of tracks like 9.

    He got washed by 21 on sneakin but you right. I haven't enjoyed Drake like this since NWTS-era.

    Not so much last minute, just that the album went through different stages. The final version of Views was much different than the style he had when VFT6 was announced in 2014 (think Can I, Go Out Tonight, On a Wave, Days in the East, Draft Day, 0-100, Trophies, 6 God).

    Obviously in that time he shifted his attention to IYRT/WATTBA, so Views got put on the back burner again.

    Overall I think the blow up of HLB deserves the most credit for shaping the sound of Views.

    Same here, still pretty upset that we never got a finished version of Can I.

    It's hard to argue with trying to be the biggest out, how many people really get that opportunity? But he definitely compromised some of his style along the way.
