Jan 16, 2016 Chiefs have one of the best defenses in the league and are coming into this game hot off an 11-game winning streak. To handle a team like this is certainly impressive.
Jan 16, 2016 I mean, yeah it's impressive if they score over 30 points against the chiefs. Chiefs had plenty of opportunities to make this game close, on offense. I just feel beating a team with Alex Smith as the starting qb isn't a very impressive win in the playoffs.

Jan 16, 2016 Smith isn't the best QB but even with Smith and without Charles, Chiefs offense has been averaging 25+ points per game, good enough for top 10 in the NFL. a QB who rarely takes chances and is a check down machine has a good TD/interception ratio. That's not surprising.

Jan 16, 2016 Oh I know, but he went OFF against the Colts a couple of years ago in that crazy game and another time against the Saints(when he was with SF). He's been good in the playoffs in general.
Jan 16, 2016 solid effort from the chiefs but it just wasn't enough. pats don't lose many home playoff games and they've got so much more experience than the chiefs do in the playoffs. the chiefs had won 11 straight games, so they were due for a loss. but in the end, the great QB play the pats have had for soooo many years was the difference in this one.
