Drake 2016 is Drake's best year

    Views destroyed records and dominates the charts still to this day. One dance is a global #1 and everyone f---s with it. OVO Sound Radio is popping and hes debuting other artist projects on there now. He got songs still to come before July. He has a Summer 16 tour with Future stretching through the end of the year and possibly a world tour next year already. He has so many Summer songs locked in at this point like Controlla, For Free & Too Good. He released arguably the best rap song of 2016 two days ago imo and He starting to sound hungry again in terms of rapping and proving a point.
    Is he musically at his peak? nope but he isnt exactly making trash songs hes just making songs that we are all used to.

    2016 a goat year for any Drake fan.

    2015 was the year to be a Drake fan, you got Drake killing everything in sight.

    first half of 2016 is meh but things are looking up for the second half of 2016.

    Drake releases a project and a few loose songs every year or so and usually it takes until November for people to realize how much he slayed the past year.

    I could see that. It'll be hard to get bigger than he was last year though. HLB & B2B alone already give 2015 the edge.

    Here lies the problem, Drake is at a point in his career where he can literally drop anything, and it will chart, and ultimately sell well-- at the moment Drake is at his popularity peak and he necessarily doesn't have to make multiple pandering songs that usually appear in his albums.

    Do you listen to anyone but Drake? I can name at least 50 songs that have dropped just this year better than any Drake song in 2016.
