Lol sheeeit. My Spurs are out so meh. Figured it was going to be Cleveland out of the East. OKC being up 3-1 then losing is a shame for them. But I'm still undecided, you don't want to bet against LeBron esp with a healthy Love and Irving, but GSW can lights out s---t so we'll see what happens!

all the signs point towards the warriors winning.

    - they have home court advantage
    - they have the league MVP
    - they won more games than the cavs in the regular season
    - they undoubtedly faced tougher opponents in the playoffs
    - and they beat the cavs both times in the regular season

but i'm still not quite sure yet.

    - Cavs are capable of stealing a game or two at Oracle.
    - LeBron is also a league MVP.
    - Regular season victories don't mean much in post-season play. See San Antonio and their capitulation.
    - Which could also mean they're more fatigued and aren't as fresh as the Cavs.
    - And the times where they beat the Cavs during the season they 1) had a different coach in Blatt instead of Lue and 2) didn't have Channing Frye who's been super for them so far during the playoffs.

I'm on the Warriors to win it but the Cavs will be a tough hurdle to jump over and it isn't as easy as you make it sound.

GSW in six but I actually think five is VERY possible.

    Jordan, Bird, Magic, Kobe.

IDK man, I don't see it happening.

He has to do a lot more to beat out Bird, Magic or Kobe.

Sorry for the double quote, but once Jordan got passed the Pistons, it was a wrap.

You have to remember, Jordan retired TWICE off of championship teams. If Jordan played all the way through, he POSSIBLY could've won 8-10 rings. He was that f---ing dominant.

Plus, you mentioned Jordan losing in the playoffs. Very true. But, it wasn't the same as Lebron. Yes, Jordan, like Lebron, didn't have much help, but Jordan also got f---ing physically dominated. Back in the 80's, basketball was a lot more physical, and even though Detroit and even the Celtics, would be extremely physical with Jordan, he STILL put up huge numbers.

He dropped 63 f---ing points on one of the greatest teams in NBA history (1985-86 Boston Celtics).

He dropped 46 points on the d--- Detroit Piston's team that physically beat him into the ground.

Lebron has NEVER done that to a team of the caliber of that Celtics or that Pistons' team. Jordan did it on the regular in the playoffs, even before the championships.

Bird and Magic did the same.

It's not about the championships, it's about the fact that these guys kept fighting and WILLED their teams. Lebron HAS done it, but more often than not, he shrinks in big moments. Unlike Jordan, unlike Magic, unlike Bird, unlike Kobe.

I felt OKC played GSW the best they could have and I was pretty hyped that they almost made it to the finals but since the Warriors made it I feel that the Cavs won't stop them. Their 3 point game is deadly.

Cavs winning the poll, not long ago people were saying they haven't beaten anybody. :emoji_wink:

I hope they win, if they don't, I wont be able to scroll though social media for a week without being flooded with how LeBron choked and his finals record, regardless what happened.

Yeah you make great points too. I more or less just wanted to point out that the "2-4 finals record" that everyone brings up with him isn't as horrible as people make it out to be.

@Fitzy you make great points, but LeBron did have that legendary game against Detroit to go to the finals in 07, 26 straight points or something like that. Also was a great moment as a sports fan to see him finally get past the Celtrics.

I'm not so sure about Jordan winning 8-10 titles though. Sure, maybe they win 2 if he doesn't retire the 1st time, but MJ was burnt the f--- out at the end of the 2nd 3peat, if you added 2 more full seasons w/ finals runs in 94-94, I'm not sure he wins in 97-98.

26 'experts' on ESPN picked the finals with 20 of them picking the warriors and 25 of them saying the series will go at least 6 games.

I'm a huge LeBron fan so it's time for another emotional roller coaster ride.

I've learned to never get my hopes up for a LeBron led finals run. So we'll see.
I'll predict Cavs in 7 but wouldn't be surprised if it's more like Warriors in 5.

I'm from Chicago and HATE the Bulls (because of their ignorant fans), so LeBron losses in the Finals are always fun for me.....
My phone/social media blow up as soon as LeBron does ANYTHING wrong.

Let's hope I can get the last laugh this year.

Not sure about Jordan not having as much help as LeBron. Scottie Pippen >> JR Smith imo.

LeBron obviously had the big 3 in Miami but this year is the first time LeBron has a decent team around him in a finals series with Cleveland.

You don't have to put an 'imo' after that one man, that's about as factual as it gets lol.

Yeah I put it there as a joke haha.

The Jordan era was before my time so I can't say much but surely 72-10 is not one mans effort, the Bulls must've had a great team.
