After watching that, and if Celtics end up with two top 5 picks (Brooklyn and LA picks), I'd hope they'd end up with Deandre Ayton and Mo Bamba.

I'm thinking 3-4 years down the road.... Josh Jackson (hopefully Lakers don't pick him), Jaylen Brown, Mo Bamba and Deandre Ayton... On paper defensively, that seems like a great team, and with a ton of height.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but that's what I'd hope for.

It's not a bad trade afterall for the C's. :emoji_wink: Works out both ways the Philly-Boston trade, I reckon Boston will feel a lot better about the trade when the 2018 draft approaches.

But then again, I don't reckon the Nets and Lakers will be as bad this season. They both have no reason to tank while I reckon the Magic, possibly Suns and a few other non-playoff teams that have given up pushing forward will be in the mix trying to get those picks.

This is exactly why I don't like the trade. I don't think the Nets have a chance of being good, so a top 5 pick might happen, but I don't see the Lakers being s-----y much longer.

Plus, if we don't end up with Jackson, it's truly a waste.

Lakers still have a terrible list, I reckon it might depend on Paul George, although they would prefer to wait for his contract to end then sign him, Cleveland might try to go after him and convince him to sign a new contract there. They gotta act quickly I reckon.

Yeah, I'm actually banking on PG going to LA, even though I hope it doesn't happen.

If C's end up with two top 5 picks next year? It'll make this deal look great. But, this was the first year that the lottery finally went in our favor.

Lakers won't be bad next year I don't think, got a lot of good young players who will only keep getting better..Got reason to be excited now with PG on the way, may even have him by some point this season, who knows.

Really think they'll be getting Lonzo now as far as the draft goes though, heard they're calling a ton of teams and trying to get another 1st..They already have the 3rd and 28th picks, so who knows what's going on...trade in the works? possibly with the Pacers? Pick they're trading for+28th pick+Clarkson?

Lakers/Celtics NBA finals for bout a decade straight starting in 2020 or so, get ready Fitz. Lakers gonna make the 2020s look for them like how the 60s looked for the Celtics.

I don't see the Nets improving. Like i've been saying they need to prepare for an all out tank next year. That could mean trading Lopez for whatever picks they can get, I know for a fact they won't go into that tank with Lin trying to play hero ball so he could be moved as well. Either way I'd almost prefer the Nets to not have the worst record, because I can't see the team with the best odds winning 3 straight years.

I don't see the Lakers trading for Paul George this year, the Cavs might though. The Lakers will still be bad this year for sure, question is how bad. Celtics might not get that pick from them next year, but the Kings roster is awful and that 2019 pick would probably be top 7-8. Celtics would also have Memphis' pick in 19 and that team is old and fading, the Clippers pick in 19 and their own. Having 4 picks in 2019 as the worst case scenario wouldn't be awful. Clippers pick is lottery protected, so depending on what happens with them in free agency they may not get it.

Yea I'm not sure they would go with two 7 footers, unless Ante Zizic comes in this year and looks completely lost which i don't think he does. If you're there at #1 you have to take Porter, although if you have Jackson/Brown/Crowder (i think Jae might be gone though) Danny would be even more justified to trade down for Ayton/Bamba (if the Lakers pick doesn't convey).

I know this is petty, but I hope Lonzo Ball fails in the NBA due to his goober father alone.

A lot of people are calling him Pierce 2.0 and expect Boston to pick him at #3 if they don't trade back and snag him a few picks later. He will be solid but I still think I like Jackson a bit better.

That's definitely best case scenario, even if he's a Danny Granger type that will help Boston.
Isaac is nice but definitely the biggest risk of the top guys. He end up being like Marvin Williams.

There is risk but his ceiling is higher then Tatum's. Love his length and think he'll be able to guard 3 positions and s---t the 3 consistently. Tatum is kind of a 3/4 tweener, probably too slow to guard the quicker SF's and too small to guard bigger 4's. I think he'll end up being a good player, but I think Isaac ends up being the steal of the draft.

Really interested to see how Philly goes in the 2nd round, I dont think either Frank Jackson and Jonah Bolden will fall to us. We gotta go Josh Hart??
