Jun 7, 2017Even that situation with Mo is overblown lol. He was the 2nd alternate chosen to replace Chris Bosh (Ray Allen was the 1st alternate and he replaced Jameer Nelson).
Mo averaged 18-4 that year, exactly what Rose did this season except he played for a 66 win team.
Not trying to take away from his IQ or play making ability, but that 'LeBron made Mo Williams an all-star' narrative is way way overblown.

Durant was one win away from an NBA Finals with OKC. He went to a team that won 73 wins in a regular season... Obviously the "culture" appealed to him, what kind of weird argument is that? lmao. They just set a record and lost by 4 points in a game 7 after almost REPEATING.
Really "earning" a ring would've been figuring it out with Russ in the off-season and realizing you were ONE WIN AWAY FROM A FINALS! You're acting like they were so far behind the Warriors that they could've never figured it out. That's complete bs.
What's even funnier is that Durant criticized everyone for ring chasing in 2010 lol.
And LeBron visited teams too. He visited the Nets, Knicks, Clippers, Heat and Bulls. The Bulls/Cavs were actually the favorites to land him. There was also talk about the Knicks having a legit chance. It was really only the day before The Decision that Miami Heat were the front runners. But to say LeBron didn't sit down with every team is absurd, he did the exact same thing, and was probably going to re-sign with the Cavs until Bosh/Wade signed with Miami the day before.
The equivalent of what Durant did would be LeBron going to the Boston Celtics after they defeated him in 2010, and joined KG, Ray, Rondo and Pierce. Literally the same exact thing, except the Celtics were a 4 seed going into the playoffs, not a record setting team lol. Miami wasn't a championship team, nor controlled the East prior to James signing. There was still a lot of uncertainty with them, and Boston/Bulls were still a force. However, if James signed with Boston? It would've been unfair, kind of like how KD signed with GSW.ANOZ, Enigma and Ordinary Joel like this. -

I respected how the Warriors built their team, it was amazing how they did it. I enjoyed watching them the last two years because it was based off drafting/player development.
However, my hatred for them STARTED with Durant signing there. I hated the move on HIS part. I didn't hate it on the Warriors' part lol. They're just trying to make their team better, good for them.
What's irritating about Durant is OKC wasn't far away. It's not like they lacked talent or anything. They were up 3-1 vs this same Golden State team. It's not like Russ and Durant are too old or the window was closing. It could've been a legit 3 team race in the West, and an even more competitive NBA FInals vs Cleveland.
In all honesty though, I really started hating the Warriors after the McGee/Shaq thing, then Draymond talking s--- to Pierce, then Zaza's cheap play on Leonard (who's my favorite player in the NBA that's not a Celtic). I still love Klay, Curry, Iguodala though.Kush Gawd, Enigma and Ordinary Joel like this. -

It also isn't stupid. It's fair. Here's what people don't understand. When Lebron went back to the Cavs and made the trade for Kevin Love, this is what Lebron expected their team to be. They were a super team. I'm not talking about now, I'm talking about at that time. What he didn't expect was the Warriors to come along like they did. So now people are acting like the Cavs weren't built to be dominant. Lebron tried to stack the deck in his favor. He just didn't expect Steph Curry to be transcendent, Klay Thompson to be one of the greatest shooters ever, and Draymond Green to possibly be the greatest defender the game has ever seen. Then the Warriors signed Durant to stack the deck even more in their favor. This is something Lebron tried to do, but failed because he underestimated everyone else. He brought this s--- upon himself. And it annoys me how people are acting like this dude didn't try to do the same d--- thing. Twice. Not just with the Heat, but with the Cavs.
Lebron created what you see now. Deal with it. Because now he's dealing with it.Kush Gawd, SHUDEYE and Ordinary Joel like this. -

I said I liked the Warriors before the Durant signing. I actually don't mind most of the team (although I hate Zaza, Draymond and McGee because of various events from this PAST season).
Durant is a b---- though, I've been pretty consistent in that assessment. I don't blame the Warriors' organization for signing him, it was just a b-----made thing for him to do, and it made me dislike the Warriors because of it. I felt the same way about LeBron signing with the Heat.Enigma, Kush Gawd and Ordinary Joel like this. -

At least if cp3 goes to the Spurs he isn't bitching out and running to a team he just blew a 3-1 lead to with a chance to make it to the finals.. I can give him a pass. KD is a b---- though, and even if they win the ring it isn't gonna erase the fact they needed to run and get a 2nd MVP on their team to beat the Cavs.Ordinary Joel, Enigma and Fitzy like this. -

KEVIN DURANT IS A p---- FOR LEAVING OKC... ANYBODY CAN WIN WHEN THEY HAVE 2 MVPS, BEST DEFENSIVE PLAYER IN LEAGUE, AND A SHARP SHOOTER WHO PUT UP 30 IN A QUARTER BEFORE. LEBRON IS PLAYING WITH KYRIE (WHOS GOOD), KEVIN LOVE WHO IS PLAYING LIKE HELEN KELLER IF HELEN KELLER WAS PARALYZED, TRISTAN THOMPSON WHO HAS AS GOOD OF REBOUNDING SKILLS AS A PARAPLEGIC, AND A BENCH OF SCRUBS (MINUS KORVER).
