    Both teams missing easy shots early, but you can tell it's hype as f--- already..both teams into every single possession, crowd going crazy every moment, even players on the bench real into it every second..physical defense.

    This is great so far tbh, other than the easy missed shots which will certainly change.

    Definitely not. 2-5 vs. 3-4 in the Finals. It'd probably be a debate if he was top 5 or something.

    If anyone likes him, Jimmy Kimmel is doing his show focusing on the Finals on ABC right now. Always liked it when him and Guillermo do the Finals stuff.

    I think the Cavs lost something like $40 Million last year, I dunno how long these owners will want to keep paying ridiculous tax money. Curry and Durant will both make significantly more next year and Golden State might end up moving Klay. Both teams will probably still be here for a while, but the teams will start to look different and be at least a little more beatable in Golden State's case anyways.

    I know Lebron and Dan Gilbert are having issues, if they end up losing here that could get worse.

    Warriors in 6 or 7, ppl keep saying Warriors in 5. I don't think the league lets that happen, these playoffs have been too awful to not push this thing to at least 6.

    We had HOU/OKC, MEM/SA, BOS/CHI for a little bit, BOS/WAS, HOU/SA. Other series were entertaining as well, but knowing we would eventually get GS/CLE III just took the rest of the excitement away.

    No ones saying 50+ wins means you're a contender, it's just the number they chose for this stat to show how many good to great teams those players have knocked off over the years.

    For taking a huge sample size like they did you can't just dismiss it and say 'oh the hawks were never legit!' Lol, of course some of those teams won't be too great but some will.

    Bron's consistently had an easier path to the finals due to lack of competition in the NBA as a whole and mainly in the east, that's what that stat shows.

    Worthless stat.

    1. When did 50 wins become the benchmark for a great team or a "giant".

    2. MJ played during an expansion so the top teams got to pad their wins.

    3. The Hawks won 60 games in a season once and no one considered them to be a contender. W-L means nothing w/o context.

    I knew that was coming. We as fans often get caught up in novelty stats.Whats really the difference between 24-1 and 24-5?

    KD going to the warriors knocked out one contender so we have 3 instead of 4. That's still ~ 75% of teams that won't compete for a title. Which is what it's always been.

    The illusion of competition is what a lot of ppl are falling victim to. "It's never been this large of a difference between the contenders and the field" is false. The difference between the Cavs and the Celtics is larger than the difference between the Celtics and Sixers but that always been true. Look at the Rockets. They went from a fringe playoff team to a fringe contender in 1 off season. It's easy to go from bad to good. It's almost impossible to go from good to contender. And if you are a true contender you will dominate the field for a vast majority of a decade. So the Cavs and Warriors are just a continuation of what the NBA has always been.

    I was thinking about this yesterday. The difference between the Cavs and Celtics, is the same as the difference between the Celtics and like the Knicks or Magic.

    They tried adding Bron to every team in the league in NBA2k and simming a full year to see how they'd do, only the nets, suns and heat missed the playoffs lol.

    4 of the teams won a title, Knicks, Raptors, Rockets and Thunder. 5 other teams went to the finals and lost including the sixers, celtics and warriors lol.

    In all 29 total simulations, the potential GOAT Lebron won a total of......0 MVP awards..
