    i wouldn't go so far to say its a dog s--- product, but i understand the gist of what redsoxx is saying. the lack of competitiveness can make it boring/uninteresting at times

    but even during the 90s, when the NBA had many more viewers than it does now, the bulls could have very easily won 8 titles in a decade if jordan hadn't retired. the NBA has always been about dominance and dynasties.

    a big part of the reason why its like that is because in basketball its only 5 on 5. therefore, if you have 2 or 3 superstars it makes it a lot easier to dominate. in other sports like football, baseball and hockey..........you have more players on the field/ice/diamond........so it helps even things out and the stars don't have as big of an impact as they do in the NBA.

    Even the Bulls in 90's were taken to 6 games though. This s--- isn't even close to be competitive. No one can beat the top two teams!

    This whole the east is so weak and Lebron has an easy path narrative is ridiculous. Every decade except the 70s has been like this. 3-4 teams realistically have a chance of winning a title per decade.

    Been the most boring NBA playoffs I've ever watched. It's not just that it was pretty much GSW vs Cavs guaranteed, but it's that every game has been a blowout and that they've all swept. Kawhi and Lee don't go out and it's a series. Rondo doesn't go out and I think they take a game or two from the Cavs. Just an incredibly monotone playoff.

    With that said, Go Lebron. Don't you dare give Levin Durcant a ring.
