I think even Ainge said they've drafted players before who haven't worked out for them.

Don't agree with Lavar's thinking that Zo would turn into a 2 in Boston. Isiah is a 1 in terms of size but he's a 5'9" SG. He plays good off the ball and I definitely think Zo would operate as the 1 there.

It definitely adds to his legacy as a winner but people often misrepresent what that stat means.

What do you mean? He played 11 seasons with the Bulls and went 6-6 in the Finals with 6 MVPs. I don't think that will ever be replicated again in NBA history.

s--- this is either gonna be a great night or a miserable night for me. Pens in a game 7 for the Stanley Cup Finals and the Cavs game. Luckily I bought beer. Unfortunately I already drank most of it.

There'd still be a lot of drama and some interesting stuff happening though, curious as to how far he'd fall(probably not too far but still...) and how they and especially Lavar would react lol...Lavar would go on a huge anti-Lakers rant I'm sure and promise that Lonzo would destroy them when the play or something lol..

I can see it now, Lavar being like 'The Lakers made the biggest mistake in the history of their franchise, no they made the biggest mistake in the history of sports tonight!'

6-0 is great but people view him never losing in the finals as being better than a player winning 6 rings and going to twice the finals.

d---, Magic said that Ingram is the only player the Lakers aren't willing to trade, wonder how serious they are about potentially dealing Russell or Randle.

I mean if we're going with the Lebron comp it's impressive getting there sure, but what does it really matter at the end of the day if you don't win the chip?

Add to that Bron choked 4 consecutive 4th quarters against an inferior Mavs team with the likes of Jason Terry and JJ Barea checking him, got swept once by the Spurs, and then thoroughly embarrassed by them years later, to the point where he literally sat and cried on the bench.

So yes I'd say 6-0 is much more impressive than how ever many appearances Bron ends up with.

The guy is a phenomenal, once in a lifetime talent and a top 5 player all time but he has no claims to the GOAT throne. He is just NOW starting to pass MJ in some stats in his 14th season. Mike only played 13.

I don't disagree with what you said enough to argue it but my main gripe is solely with the 6-0 argument. If MJ is great because he won 6 rings and 6 finals mvps and was just a baller than I'm cool with that. I disagree but it at least follows a logical pattern.

My problem is when people misrepresent what 6-0 means and the value of 6-0. Yeah it means he went undefeated in the finals but that's like a "oh we like shiny things and round numbers" situation. It's impressive that he was the best player and won 6 rings. The 6 rings is the impressive aspect, not 0 defeats. 1-0 is demonstrably less impressive than 6-0 yet both represent a player never losing in the finals.

6-0 is also not 6-0. It's 6-0-however many conference finals wins-however many semi conference wins-however many 1st round wins. People fall into this illogical way of thinking where they believe if Lebron wins 6 rings and goes to 12 finals that its worst than MJ winning 6 and only going to 6. They'll simultaneously argue that Lebron is the worst player because he has 1/2 the rings while arguing it's better to lose before the finals than reach it; even though winning a ring is the ultimate goal.

Also this CP3 shouldn't sign the super max if offered nonsense is beyond ridiculous. No ring or amount of rings are worth 70+ million dollars.

I get the premise of what you're saying but i think it's much simpler than that.

6 rings in 13 seasons is more impressive than 3 rings in 14 seasons, especially on top of the individual statistical awards/achievements.

MJ's 6-0 is only trumped if Lebron wins a 6th. Like how everyone had Montana over Brady, until Brady won his 4th. Getting their 2 more times (at the time) > undefeated.

If you chose to value rings above all then this makes sense. The more rings you have the better you are. Combined with other individual achievements and stats of course.

But you cannot argue rings are the most important thing and then say MJ is the best because he's undefeated in the finals regardless of whether or not another player matches or surpasses him in rings.

36-16 in the 1st quarter...My advice to anyone who was planning on watching this game, watch hockey instead. Game 7 Pittsburgh Ottawa on now, already an exciting 1st period.
