The NBA is just broken right now. The next 5 years are going to be Warriors Cavs.

Atleast with the NFL there are a plethora of talented teams. Even tho Brady the goat, there are a number of strong teams that could hang with the patriots tbh.

Even when all the evidence points to the contrary, people still think the Warriors don't have good defense. Lol. 96 bulls have good lockdown defenders, but the Warriors play the kind of team defense that is hard to replicate because it's based entirely on chemistry. They pick each other up when one fails. The Bulls would wilt under that kind of pressure. Just when you think you shook your defender and got an open shot, someone else comes out of nowhere to block it. It's just ridiculous what the Warriors are doing on defense right now. I'm more impressed with that than their offense.

    Position-less defense > 1 on 1 defense

Also, the Bulls played in a diluted era. They won 72 in a league that was in the midst of recovering from a bunch of expansion drafts. NBA didn't recover until the mid 2000s. There's more talent and deeper benches than ever before in this league. I'm not even just saying that the Warriors would beat the Bulls. I'm saying there are quite a few teams today that would beat the Bulls. I know, heresy, but I'm just being realistic here.

@Rob B summed up my thoughts pretty accurately on this... The Warriors have 3-4 lockdown guys too. The Warriors' defense might be better, and I think their offense is too.

Saying there's 'quite a few teams' today that could beat the 96-97 bulls is ridiculous to say the least.

The Warriors would have a shot, imo a good shot.. but 'quite a few teams' in a season where there wasn't even many good teams and the NBA as a whole was weaker than it's been in years? Uh... no.

I'm with you here. Warriors are the only team I would feel confident in picking against that Bulls team. I guess I didn't agree with everything he said lol. When I glanced his post I thought it meant teams from this era, not specifically this year, but it did mean that.
I don't think anyone predicted Vince Carter would be a solid role player as a 40 year old and completely revamp his game. Wanna see him get a ring cuz he's one of my all-time favs.

5 years is a long a--- time in the NBA, Lebron could be out of Cleveland soon especially if they lose in 4 or 5. Cavs have no room to get better really.

Warriors by 15+ again tonight, Cavs will probably keep it close for a half maybe even 3 quarters though.

thought the Cavs would win the series before it started, but this will be another blowout unless Bron & Kyrie both come up with monster games.

I had Cavs in 7 before it started, but a lot of that was bias and hope lol. I also didn't expect none of the role players to show up either. This may be the first close game in the 4th, and I bet the role players step up because I feel like role players always do at home. Still taking GS although this is the Cavs' best shot.

This series is f----- because even if they do step up, I doubt GS has 20 turnovers again.

Heard a good point today that this Warriors team is coming at Bron similar to the way the 2014 Spurs did. They feel like they gave away a championship and rallied the next year and completely blew the doors off him in the Finals. I think the Warriors smell sweep and play a cleaner game than #2, hard as that is to imagine.

For the Cavs to win they basically need everything to go perfect, they need to limit their turnovers, play at least pretty good D and have Bron+2 others have huge nights...They also need at least 1 or 2 of the Warriors top 4 to have off nights.

Good luck with all that lol..
