    We all arguing what should of happened, what they should of done, but all of that happens in the moment. Had kyrie drove and somehow missed or got blocked, the line would be "korver was open for a 3"

    This is exactly my point lol. Hindsight is always 20/20. When Lebron kicked it out to JR and he hit that 3 late in the game, no one cared lol

    the game was in the balance on that last possession though, talking heads on TV would debate whether he should have passed to Korver, but would any smart basketball fan really hold it against Lebron for trying to win the game on a move he had been dominating with the entire game/series? Of course not.

    No it's actually not that simple. An open Korver 3 has a better chance of going in than a contested acrobatic LeBron layup with 2 guys all over him imo. Korver is one of the best shooters of all time. LeBron still made the right play.

    lol that's ridiculous... gets criticized when teammate makes clutch plays... nobody was going after jordan when he let paxon and Kerr hit 3s to win huge games. Nobody does that to any other player except LeBron.

    Contested & acrobatic? It was a 1 on 1 situation against a guy with 5 fouls lol. He'd hit a handful earlier that were much, much more difficult. 2 guys? Where? Klay is attached to Kyrie in the right corner, he is not leaving to help. KD is on the other side of the paint defending the screen action with Curry/Love/Korver. Draymond had 5 fouls, he is not going to pick up his 6th on a potential and 1 and miss OT. Korver is sprinting to that spot to try and get a clean look while Curry is closing out. Not like he was standing there wide open. We're talking Kyle Korver here not Jesus Shuttlesworth.

    All Lebron had to do was do what he'd done all night and drive the d--- ball.

    Lebron layup is a higher % than a Korver 3, plain and simple.

    big difference between MJ passing out of a double on a set play to a wide open steve kerr and lebron handing kyrie the ball and letting him iso lol

    I'm having a hard time picturing the play exactly, I'm at work and can't look atm... either way it was a tough layup and he made the right play as he's done his entire career. I mean seriously the dude was a +7 in 46 minutes and they lost by 5, and people are sitting here saying he is the reason they lost

    Doesn't change the fact that he made the right decision/play. Kyrie's game is 80% ISO.

    Lebron has 11 total points in the 4th quarter this series.

    It's not even about passing on the last possession, how many times have you ever seen MJ not even be involved in that situation?? Let alone watch a guy dribble the ball into a pancake before attempting a step back 3 to finish 0-7 for the night.
    Klay & KD >>>>> Korver
    Of course he's not the reason they lost, but the game was there for the taking and he didn't execute in the last 2-3 minutes. It's not a bad play, but like I keep saying a LeBron layup of any kind, especially in a 1-1 situation, is a much higher % shot than letting Korver run into a contested 3.
