Seriously the worst NBA playoffs I've ever watched lol. Been watching since 03 and I can't remember it ever being this boring. I never use to turn the games off before halftime but now it's like every other game I am lol

I think we match up well. They are a great defensive team and can s---t well from beyond.

If They can somehow keep the Cavs off the glass and Bradly can keep Kyrie in check a bit... they have a shot. They have been counted out all year... so it's cool.

    Celtics still in this b----...

C's will probably win 1 game. Doesn't really matter tbh, ECF and the #1 pick. That is a huge W for this team, everything else is gravy.

I'm really disliking @Mike Tyson negativity right now.

Celtics gonna take over the NBA soon enough guys.

Danny Ainge you a genius for this one.

Fultz, Hayward and Zizic will be great additions to the C's next year. Yabusele probably won't play much but I like him going forward as well.

Who do you think is gonna be gone in the long run of things? Like in 5 years or so? I don't think they'll be able to keep them all. I was talking to my sister about this today who's a big C's fan and she was asking me who I thought they'd be losing in the next couple of years. I told her no one is under contract for a ton of years outside of Horford and maybe someone else I'm forgetting, so I told her they'd try all they could to hold onto IT and Bradley in the coming years and almost absolutely lose Olynyk, Amir Johnson, Crowder, etc. (not much)

Her and her husband are just very concerned that they might have too many good players to pay in the long run.

IT, Bradley and Smart are all up after next year. I think they keep Smart and make a decision on Bradley or IT after next year, depending on who gels better with Fultz. Although i could see them trying to trade Bradley for a future pick(s) or a rim protector. Horford and Crowder are both here for 3 more years after this one, Crowder on probably the best non rookie deal in the league. I would say Amir, Olynyk, Jerebko, Zeller (all their bigs are trash mostly), James Young, and Jordan Mickey will probably all be gone next year. Zizic (who most scouts say would be a lottery pick this year) and Yabusele will both come over replacing some of the front court guys they'll lose at cheap money. Abdel Nader who was the D-League ROTY will also probably come up.

If the C's get Hayward or maybe Blake next year then you might be talking about really pushing the Cavs towards 6 or 7 games, but you still probably lose. And then the year after you probably take a small step back losing IT or Bradley, but at that point Jaylen and Fultz might be big contributors by then. Also the Celtics still have 5 1st round picks in 18/19 including the Nets 18, Grizzlies 19' top 8 protected (they're old) and Clippers 19' lotto protected + their own next 2 years.

I like the idea of competing now and then having the next wave of guys coming up for when Lebron starts to decline, whether that's in 2-3 years or 4-5 its coming.

Yeah if it comes down to IT or Bradley, I have a feeling they'll hold onto Bradley because he's younger, more of a two-way player, and might not demand as much money as IT. (that's a big might)

Zizic has a ton of potential and could fill a big hole in the front court, and I've always been big on Abdel Nader (played college ball at Iowa State)

Yep as good as Hayward and Griffin may be, they don't push them over the edge in terms of beating LeBron and the Cavs in a series. I'm not very informed on their cap situation, but I'm sure signing one of those guys to a max contract would make it hard to sign some of the other guys they already have like Bradley or IT, which is why I'm not sure I'd try to sign either of them this offseason.

I love Jaylen Brown so far and I think he'll be huge for them in the coming years and obviously Fultz will be special, just not sure how he'll fit yet.

Celtics fans like you that think like this are 100% correct to do so. They're not gonna beat LeBron and the Cavs for another year or two so it's better to build for the 3-4 seasons from now rather than going all in on beating the Cavs now. I feel like the Raps tried to do this and it's coming back to bite them.

Yea I dunno its tough. Bradley has had so many injuries that it would really depend on the price tag. I also think IT would take a small discount because the only teams i see offering the full max would be desperate/bad teams.

I'd be hesitant on Blake because of his injury history, but Horford is the only guy who is really getting paid on this team. They're gonna have so many guys on rookie deals that paying Hayward & IT or Bradley isn't gonna be a problem. Horford's deal will be up by the time Jaylen is up for an extension and Hayward/Fultz would line up in that same way.

Of Lebron matches mj in rings and makes it to 12 finals is that more impressive than mj going 6 for 6?

Easily. MJ is shrouded in mystery in some ways because he took years off and didn't lose in the finals, but spending possibly 60% of your seasons ending in the finals is absolutely crazy. Plus, what is his record now, 3-4? If he goes 6-6 then that means he wins 3 out of his next 5, so it looks better in that regard.

6 rings is 6 rings, wouldn't say it's more impressive if he lost 6 finals that MJ never lost lol.

Anyways just can't believe we're in the conference finals and have to seriously wonder if either series will go past 4 games.
