Go to your league rules to find out. I highly recommend to everyone they know their league rules especially the scoring format. I have a league Constitution that I wrote for my league that everyone gets a copy of every year.

Last year I gave 2 names in the fantasy football thread of players to monitor early in the season that could be league winners for you. Jordan Howard and Kenneth Dixon. I was right about one of them. This year I'm giving you another round of names that mostly didn't get drafted in your league but you have to pay attention to them and if you can roster them now take on a chance on them.

Eagles fans on this site can add to this guy.

Wendell Smallwood. Blount looked terrible in the preseason, he was slow and lethargic. There were even early reports he could get cut. He was a top 10 RB in fantasy ending the year ranked 6th last year. He required 18 TDs to do so. If you drafted Blount to your team you're going to see a major regression. And eventually see him lose his starting job to a more talented RB in Smallwood. Ryan Matthews is gone leaving the door open to Smallwood to take the job after Blount under preforms.

    James Conner:

The Steelers saw enough from James Conner in the preseason after the Bell hold out that they pretty much released every other RB on their roster. History shows us that RB's that hold out and skip training camp and extended preseason action are more risk to injury. Bell is the Bell cow in Pittsburgh but given his injury history Connor is worth a roster stash on your bench.

    Tarik Cohen

Cohen won't take the starting job from Howard. But similar to Connor's situation, the Bears released Jeremy Langford and Ka'Deem Carey is on IR. Cohen is a much better pass catcher than Howard and the bears are expected to be behind in games much through out the season. Cohen looked sharp and crisp in preseason and is a player that most likely went undrafted in you league. Could be a nice weekly flex play if needed during bye weeks. Should anything, injury wise, happen to Howard. He will be the hot waiver wire add and would cost you a big chunk of your FAAB budget.

@TimmyT how did you do week 1? Hope you started Diggs. You find out your league scoring format?

Won my game already and still have D Thomas going in the last game of the week here between LA and Den.

Will try to post my waiver wire pick ups and early season raisers tomorrow before most league waivers go through on Wednesday.

I'll go ahead and assume you're in a standard scoring format, based on those scores.

    Players to add

Tarik Cohen: If you listened to me and read my previous post in this thread then you already have Tarik Cohen on your roster. Chances are you didn't and I forgive you, but now you will be paying a lot for this guy in FAAB league. If you're in a waiver priority league and aren't number one, then you aren't getting Cohen. David Johnson is out for 2-3 months and this isn't a guy that can replace DJ but can cover some ground and keep your head above water during the season. Like I said, the bears are going be playing from behind a ton this year and there is just no WR's in Chicago. Cohen is the best pass catcher left on the Bears roster.

Kenny Golladay: I thought about putting Golladay on my list back on page 1 but just left him out. And then he blew up. I have him on all my teams and love this guy. Stafford loves this guy in the redzone as well. Eric Ebron hasn't panned out to be that big redzone threat he was drafted to be, and Golladay showed he can fill that role. FAAB players, DONT over pay for him though, Tate is going to eat all day in PPR leagues. Golladay will have weeks that he lets you down, but weeks that he wins your match up.

Chris Carson: Don't waste a waiver spot or any faab on him, grab him in FA and stash him. Eddie Lacy is trash, Rawls is injury prone and CJ Prosise is a nice option but Carson has shown talent and flashes in pre season. In leagues with 6 bench spots, stash him now.

You're standard scoring by those point totals. You don't receive any points for receptions. H2H means it's traditional fantasty football. You play 1 opponent every week. There's different types of leagues now but most common is the regular head to head leagues.

I would start Diggs and Jeffery at WR.

@TimmyT did you win last week? I forgot to jump in this thread and tell you to start Benjamin instead of Diggs after the Bradford news Sunday morning. Had Bradford in a few fanduel lineups and had to switch it up.

I would suggest benching Mariota and streaming a QB this week.

nah, i lost 78 to 85..... would have won if i started wentz instead of Mariota. but that's no excuse.....because she would have scored more points if she had started X, Y or Z

for whatever reason, i had a strong feeling that mariota was gonna ball out this season. and he still might, its only been 2 games......but so far he's underachieved for me.

WTF does stream a QB mean? i was planning on starting Wentz this week because Mariota is facing the seahawks

by the way, murray hurt his hamstring.........any suggestions?

It's a fantasy strategy that applies to all the positions where you only start 1 player. Like QB, TE, Kicker, Defense. It means you don't draft a player early for that position because you only have to start 1. And you should also only draft 1. You stream the position with FA or waiver players that have a great matchup that week. Example, I drafted a defense in the last round. I didn't waste a mid, or late round draft pick on a defense and sure as h--- never use an early round draft pick on an elite defense. I picked the Steelers in the last round. Cut them and picked up the Bucs last week. Both weeks I got over 20 pts with them. This week I cut the Bucs and I'm streaming the Dolphins. Bucs could be a good play again this week if Bradford is out but I'm starting Cook so any points Cooks gets is a minus for my defense. Streaming also allows you to add depth at the more RB and WR which requires multiple starters.

As far as Murray goes, hang on to him. Hamstrings are a thing that can be re aggravated if not allowed proper healing. What's your RB depth now?

Mariota is still young. He's shown his ability to tear apart lesser quality defenses. He will have big games against bottom half defenses but k--- you vs good defenses. I would definitely play Wentz going forward. Mariota still needs the game to slow down a bit more for him. His redzone success is very appealing because of his redzone completion percentage plus his running ability. But still, go Wentz going forward.

Kind of going back to the streaming topic. In most standard or PPR leagues you know who the 1st and 2nd rank QBs are right now? Trevor Siemian and Alex Smith. Guys that went undrafted pretty much everywhere. While Rodgers and Brady probably cost you a 1-3 round pick. This is why I cant advise enough that in leagues where you only have to start 1 QB, you wait on that position and get guys in rounds 10-12 like

    5th ranked Stafford
    6th ranked Carr
    3rd rank Went

Rodgers, Brady, Brees and Ryan most likely were drafted between rounds 1-5. They rank
    Rodgers 8th
    Brady 4th
    Brees-7th
    Ryan-12th

I can post a list later of potential QBs to stream if anyone else is interested. Feel like you're the only one on this site even reading my advice though.

i didn't start diggs again today lol. its not the easiest decision because of our QB situation. but i'm never gonna bench diggs again. don't ask me why, but i benched murray for jeremy hill of all people and that came back to bite me too. i lost 87 to 80

i understand what you mean about the streaming. you're basically adding and dropping defenses/players based on what you think the best matchups are. thanks for the tip

Don't feel bad dude, I would've advised you to start Benjamin over Diggs today but I would've said start Murray over Hill. I probably won't post in this thread anymore dude unless you tag or quote me since you seem to be the only one reading my advice. Just tag me in this thread with trade, pick up, start/sit advice if you're looking for any advice and I'd be more than happy to help you out.

I'm 4-3 in my league trying to Threepeat, have great WRs in

    Mike Evans
    Michael Crabtree
    Michael Thomas
    Jarvis Landry

I was offered Zach ertz for Crabtree, I don't have a great te. Would you guys accept that?

I accepted pretty much right after I posted here lol. Crabtree was my guy but my depth at receiver is great and, I mean, it's Ertz.

    Thanks for the response
