    I'm so happy for Luka Modric and Kovacic. Of course, not to discredit the rest of the Croatian team players, they all did a fantastic job as a team throughout the tournament. 120 mins of each match in the KO stages. They poured their heart and soul out. Well deserved. I hope Luka lifts it and also becomes the one that ends the Ronaldo-Messi reign and wins the Balon D'or.

    Tense...that's really the best way to describe this

    Belgium started off brightly with the high press and man-marking on the French midfield to deny them easy access and hit them on the break--I liked the idea of Moussa Dembele adding an extra presence and sticking onto Griezmann. Obviously, the press fades and France start finding more holes and grew a bit more. Some fantastic goalkeeping from both sides, somebody needs ice in their veins to change the scoreline, neither team wants a pk shootout

    It's almost unreal how fast Lukaku goes from stunning to absolute s--- in matters of a few touches. Very entertaining

    I don't get why Dybala once again warms the pine, he'd free Messi more on the right side and get him closer to the target man (Higuain). Gonna be a dramatic closer

    VAR has been great, I do miss the discussions but it's brought some much needed fairness. They just got to keep adjusting to some of the awkward situations when a ref has to make the tough call
