    I forgot how physical Croatia plays, everyone on there is a walking yellow especially if things aren't going their way. Surprised they went with a two man midfield, Nigeria should be pressing them harder if they want to get back in this

    Yeah but obi Mikel don't defend and etebo and ndidi are too far from them.

    He should invert the triangle in the midfield .

    Yeah it's stupid to just let Rakitic and Modric just do what they want from deep, plus neither Iwobi or Moses is winning the 1v1s out wide so it puts less pressure to drag the Croatia midfield from the channels.

    The fun thing will be watching the inevitable Kovacic man-marking Messi in Round 2, that's the key in that game

    There’s been a lot of discussion here that the penalty for Griezman, the ref actually made the right call and the VAR got it wrong.

    I’m still very confused about it but it does sound like Australia have a point

    he got the ball first, but tripped him by kicking the back of his heel after, not even giving France the chance to finish that. VAR got it right clearly in my opinion.

    Can't wait to see us get shredded by Germany :emoji_blush:

    My only hope is the Lozano vs Kimmich duel, other than that our coach is gonna fall for the same trap as always and try that possessional bs against a German team that loves fast transitions.
