And he had nothing to say about ANYTHING that didn't have to do with money or tech. marianne williamson rofl I actually agree with some of the core things Williamson thinks but that last part where she interrupted and talked for so long was so bad. And she obviously she 100% not be president lol Why do you consider mayor pete a winner of the debate?
Jun 28, 2019 Sanders was ok. He was his usual self which got him by in the 16’ primaries since he only had to deal with Clinton but it’s not going to be enough this time around. He needs to make more of an impact or else Warren is just going to swallow up his support. Harris was great last night but she definitely was lucky to avoid any attacks. That’ll certainly change after this debate & if her poll numbers increase. I don’t think she’ll get hit for her donors though. She’s technically not accepting corporate PAC money which is better than some of the other candidates who are (Biden).

He's probably the biggest intellectual up there but unfortantely in 2019 I get that people would rather here dumbass one liners from Kamala Harris about food fights than actual numbers and statistics from Yang. (And that's not a shot at you but people in general) Either way it's been clear for a while now that the MSM and DNC won't give him a fair shake so I'll root for Warren or Bernie as they march towards their inevitable defeat.

Jun 28, 2019 Harris and Pete definitely won last night. Biden and Bernie are old and it showed. I think Harris will likely end up as someone’s VP candidate. The debates were pretty terrible tho, all softball questions and way too many people to really get a good feel for the candidates, who they are, and where the differ on policy. I don’t know why people who are polling so low are even up there. I look forward to the next debates with a more narrow field.

The tad bit of the Republican Party “cloaking itself” in religion was a good moment for him & will play well with the base imo. Also, his ownership of not being able to address police misconduct in his city was a nice contrast to Biden continuously defending himself re: school busing.

Jun 29, 2019 He needs to expect gotcha questions like “Will taxes be raised on the middle class to pay for Medicare For All?” The part they leave out is families will net save money due to no co-pays, premiums, outrageous hospital bills. It puts Bernie on the defensive the way they frame questions to him. He was a bit flat the first hour but picked it up the second half As soon as the field thins out it’ll give Bernie more time to dive into his policy proposals and compare his record to the other candidates. He did it perfectly when he called out Biden for voting for the war in Iraq. And his closing statement was the best by far. We need more of that
Jun 29, 2019 Harris actually dominated the Thursday night debate. She f---ing clowned Biden bad lol Biden emailed all his supporters after the debate to try and help himself out. The only thing I don’t like about Harris from what I read, she wants all illegal immigrants to have free health care. Well if undocumented citizens get free health care, so should US citizens who work for a business that doesn’t offer health care. That just doesn’t make sense to me. It is time to make health care available for all citizens and undocumented citizens and not favor one side. Also, ik this probably wouldn’t ever happen, but what about Yang saying everyone getting 1,000 a month that could help the economy. It makes sense in ways. The majority of Americans are going to use that money to go buy stuff supporting stores. Only 1/4 will save the money up to invest in mutual funds, stocks. I wonder how that would work out. The guy is smart and I’m sure he would have statistics to help back his theory up. We could easily downgrade tax money on police officials and officers all together. We don’t neeed thousands of cops in a city who pull people over for easy tickets. And only come to the bad areas after a shooting occurs and just cleans the mess up then tries to ruin people’s lives over it. Just watch 1st amendment audits on YouTube. A lot of cops get so furious when someone videos them and can’t detain and arrest them for it. Some cops tried and they ended up getting fired for it. One crazy old man cop in like his 70s literally pulled his gun out over a camera and he was released the very next day over it. Mentally unstable cops like that are looking for any reason to s---t people.

I don't want to vote for trump but yall calling my opinion trash without even trying to explain why it is is a typal liberal double standard. Jun 29, 2019 He's a venture capitalist. I don't want a venture capitalist for our president. He runs a """non-profit""" that teaches people how to be venture capitalists. Maybe his knowledge could be put to use as, like, a cyber security specialist or something, but not as president. I do like that he's at least putting a new idea forward (UBI) and he's smart to call it a "Freedom Dividend" because if people hear terms like UBI they scream and cry about socialism. I don't know enough about economics to know how much something like that would work or help. But he doesn't seem like he knows much outside of tech/capitalism.
Jun 29, 2019 "In-fighting" over candidates is part of the primary, remember how much a lot of republicans hated on trump (esp establishment ones)? In the end they gathered behind him because party loyalty. At the end of the day the party will rally behind whoever the nominee whether they like it or not. The only exception might be bernie (re: establishment dems) bc I'm sure some of them would rather be rich with trump as president than to pay taxes to help their fellow human beings under bernie.
