Couldn't imagine having an iota of respect for Trump. He is a living joke.

I'm surrounded by people who worship his golden toilet.

Guess the same thing happened in the 2000's with Bush43.

Wouldnt it be logical to cast that vote for the candidate who is closest to Sanders policy wise? Who ran on a platform that Bernie Sanders helped write. Why vote for Johnson who agrees minimally with your preferred candidate?

So questioning some of your assumptions and pointing out flaws in your (online) research is tantamount to why trump got elected? What? You aren’t the mouthpiece of the forgotten American bud you’re skippy, a sweet young man.

Why does the Texas GOP want to throw your vote into the trash and not count it, Skip?

If my boss laid me off that would have literally f--- all to do with oil production for that year

we both know you’re capable of making compelling good-faith arguments, I want better from u res!

oil exec scare mongering absolutely exists. they’re the ones pulling the strings in the super pacs and telling these c---- to act this way, I just think that dems and reps are both gonna be stupid and play their ballgame so I understand if a player votes for their home teams’ win.

but back to your point, I’m genuinely having trouble connecting the dots in logic here... economic and industrial effects can be seen over time, ergo whatever gwb did good or bad would likely be seen over the course of the next administration, ergo I’d simp for him if I got laid off? I know it’s Halloween but there’s no need to be making straw men out here

Fair, I was being reductive and half facetious anyways. Just wanted to use that context as a jumping off point

I mostly see the logic in this, but Biden’s plans will still result in layoffs in most of the oil fields and plants currently, much more so than trumps proposals (from what I’ve read, I do mostly parrot economic opinions of those I perceive to be more in tune tho lol)

the push to diff energy industries just seems a little too late to me, at this point yes we should do it but the dems need to do more to appeal to the voter base here other than promising we’ll only go a little broke

Literally no rational sense. People really fall susceptible to false narratives, especially with Clinton. The amount of bs conspiracies surrounding her name undoubtedly scared some voters away imo. Like they don’t even gotta understand the accusation; how many voters were turned off from Clinton because of one keyword: “emails.”

No state has every come down to one vote in a presidential election, ever. I know it’s the election and all but seriously thinking that one vote will make the difference in Trump winning Texas is absurd.
I honestly think 2 points is being generous. Biden enthusiasm is virtually nonexistent here.

@Sign Language and yeah sure some idiots say every year we can make texas blue - but this is the first year pundits actually say its possible.

also Georgia is about to go blue for the first time since 1992.

Really hope MJ Hegar wins the Texas senate race and Cornyn is gone from Washington. Dude gets a big chunk of his donations from private prisons and has stock in them also. Even spoke with a few people I know who normally vote Republican and they voted for Hegar.
