    The issue with Trump is that he did so poorly in the 1st debate that some voters are likely to believe he looked great today in comparison but he spent half the debate talking about Hunter Biden & China which voters don’t give a s--- about lol.

    That's what it cost to have a failed airline, multiple failed casinos, failed steaks at an electronic store business, failed vodka brand, failed water brand, failed football team (Trump actually brought down the whole USFL league... but he only owned one team), failed magazine, failed mortgage company, failed marriages, ect.



    Its almost like he doesn't know what he is doing and shouldn't be trusted to manage things.

    It’s going to be interesting to see the dynamic of the debates with mics being turned off. I’m sure Trump can & will still interrupt. Biden’s mic will probably pick up some of Trump’s rambling. Curious to see if Biden will just ignore him or respond at all.

    And look I agree, living in cities w all those amenities is def a diff beast in 2020 And Boomers have devastated the home real estate market too not knocking anyone’s lifestyle

    my initial post was a response to grimace’s silly and ill-considered argument that i should only object to john kasich if he were truly a bad guy at heart, which is impossible to define and irrelevant. he tried to create a hierarchy of issues that doesn’t stand up to scrutiny. andy decided he’d be snotty and condescending about me as always. that’s all that happened. if i had taken a different stance he would have taken its opposite.

    mostly I just like to see you guys rile each other up lol but I thought this was kind of an extreme comparison:

    I don't think you have to say union-busting + lack of (mental) healthcare (which is extremely important for allowing trans people to live normal lives) is a less important or a more important issue than transphobia. They're all representative of some of the biggest problems that plague (no pun intended) our country.

    Cuz if you can say that people are just "misguided" for being anti-healthcare or anti-union, you can certainly say that someone's just "misguided" for being transphobic. In a lot of cases people who are transphobic have just never met a trans person and/or don't know enough about trans issues (and obviously there are exceptions w/r/t being misguided for both cases).

    Four years ago Trump offered the VP slot on his ticket and told Kasich he would be the real President like Cheney was to Bush43.

    Kasich turned him down.
