Also let me rebute you since you present yourself here like a know it all oracle lol. Which groups? I don't see anyone burning cities here like in USA, cause of left-wing violence. So what's the problem according to you?

1. Far-right groups: Yeah, they exist like in any country. The same way far-left groups exists. Both are fringe in a grand scheme of things unless you want to tell me anyone that is a slightly conservative person or to the right is a far-right extremist, then I don't know what to tell you. Also Germany is holding large scale neo-nazi gatherings with open nazi symbols and no-one in EU institutions is screeching about it and no-one is talking about crisis of democracy or another bs slogan, cause of it.
2. Your government controls the judiciary branch: So just like in Germany? And no-one bats an eye lol. Don't get me wrong I'm not a fan of our current administration, but they want to reform it, cause it desperately needs a reform. I don't agree with how they want to do it, but it needs to be done in some way. In it's current form it's political and very corrupt. And opposition that goes to these EU institutions and is telling lies to get ahead politically and make whole issue political is a part of the problem, cause we are sovereign country and in my opinion they should settle their differences locally.
3. Wants to leave the treaty on violence against women: we never had a problem prosecuting such cases and our law guarantess even better protection of women than that treaty. So why we need it exactly?
4. Being against illegal immigration: we are sovereign country. Also our ruling party is for legal migration. They are bringing Hindus on work visas and we have like 2 millions Ukrainians here officially and like 2 millions more illegally lol.

The whole thing with EU attacking us is the fact as I said that opposition is snitching to the EU institutions and overreacting, cause it's 100% political thing for them. And on EU level it's mostly old EU versus new EU so Germany and France versus others and they will tell lie after lie about us, cause they are losing political influence over us (Germany) and they wanted us to be their Mexico so a place for cheap labor so they did everything they can to keep us weak.

So you can understand the sentiment, cause of huge waves of illegal immigration, migrants starting ruckus in many EU countries and a lot of terrorist attacks. So people got paranoid and I don't blame anyone. Also I think I met those Erasmus people in like 2016 and they had no such experiences at least they didn't mention anything to me and everyone seemed to have fun. We talked a lot about football. Now I think it would be very different as for Muslim thing if you came here right now. As for me I definitely wouldn't ask if you arre Muslim lol. I would just ask where you from as any normal human being.
