    I have a close friend who is a Trump supporter and always talking about how Kaepernick disgraced the flag by kneeling and then went and bought not one but 2 different shows for Rage Against the Machine at Giants Stadium which was of course canceled. I mentioned how they had burned the flag during concerts and had a benefit concert for a guy on deathrow who killed a cop. He already knew that.

    I tried to get tickets with one of my friends but they sold out immediately and only the extremely expensive ($500+) were left. Not that it would have mattered anyway lol

    Same here. Gone within minutes. Luckily, they were gonna play at a festival called Firefly in Dover, DE that I’ve gone to twice, and they happen to sell single day tickets. Then of course corona hit.

    I wonder if they even bother with the reunion when things go back to normal. Doesn’t feel as timely, but I’d still be all in

    TBH, I hafta separate my politics from a lot of artists I stan.

    So, I know where he is coming from. Kinda like guilty pleasures... but I wouldn't rock out to a hard right wing band at a Bernie Sanders rally or something.

    the two biggest cults I’ve come across in my 26 years of life are Trump supporters and Penn State football fans. PSU fans might be worse tbh. I was eating dinner at my buddy’s house a few years back, and him and his dad are grads from there and they were literally in disgust about how Sandusky was denied a retrial and that he was innocent. I’m like, do you even hear yourselves? Same buddy is a Trump guy unfortunately. A good dude, but very lost on that front. Though, I know how I set that up makes him seem like a steaming pile of s--- :laff:

    yeah I mean there's a limit to how much you can separate from music. I listen to artists who I think are pieces of s--- in real life or I don't agree with politically, but RATM isn't the type of band you can do that for because they are political lol
