what irks me is that at the point in the biden administration when he has more support and momentum than he ever will again, he doesn’t have the sense or decency to clarify this—and contextualize it within the broader package—before the details come out and voters feel duped

No, it's the fact that you literally just said that at best moderate Democrats are as bad as Republicans - when they are putitng through a $15/hr minimum wage which is one of the staples of the progressive movement.
You walked yourself into a corner and because you have no way to undo that in good faith you are looking for an easy out by attacking me personally.

voters arent feeling duped.... thats only u and the holier than thou types on twitter. there's maybe a messaging issue given the overall merits here, but man, this is a huge win for a lot of ppl. attacking bidens 'sense' or decency (!!!!!!!!!!) is just bonkers. especially once he unveils his infrastructure plan, i think this is going to rival anything obama, clinton, etc did. its historic, assuming nothing breaks down from here. you john sullivans have helped enough

and @Donkey Kong Cuntry , not trying to dunk on you... but you recently called houes democrats 'cowardly' on twitter for attmepting to force trump to resign/pence invoke 25th amendment. these are people who literally survived a domestic terror attack in their workplace ffs, immediately returning to work to certify biden + hold trump accountable (while also squeezing pence and other republicans). cowardly. i think this illustrates online progressive smugness nicely

if you think progressives seeing moderate democrats as a tactical hurdle—more than republicans, who are a total write off—means they think the two groups’ policies are indistinguishable, then you’re either not engaging in good faith or you’re not cut out for life in the nba. you’re free to disagree with their view, but you’re either sincerely misunderstanding it or doing so deliberately. either way, i’m not particularly interested in talking to you about it.

Is $15/hr minimum wage (which was probably the most touted policy change the Progressives had) a tactical hurdle? What about an infrastructure package (one of Bernie's chief policy goals were he to win)?

Backing away from the personal insults after I called you out on them, smart move, btw. You have a better chance at beating me rhetorically than beating me with cheap insults that might get a quick like but distract from whatever it is your point is supposed to be.

I'll extend that to clicking on an interesting name that was under "possible relatives" and finding out that name was registered Republican, sorry at that.
