so like, those are opinions people can have. they aren't what I agree with, but they aren't like transphobia or racism - they don't make someone an awful person, maybe just misguided. The weight of this election severely counteracts any minor obfuscations like floating a Kasich cabinet pick. pls stop jerking yourself off on a message board to feel superior to grimace. we can all admit that denying public sector workers their bargaining rights a. is part of a broader push to erode all labor power in the country, b. has serious material impact on workers, especially re: their healthcare, and c. is completely antithetical to everything the democratic party claims to stand for.

? ur arguing with a shadow as always. i was parsing out your kneejerk comparison between a discussion over labor and, like, gay bashing. im 100% pro union, thats my lineage as a mass dem, so theres no objection to what ur saying in a vacuum (though the grandstanding, on an eminem forum is like, okkkkkk. i dont need a lecture on labor's role in american life ty!)

lets face the reality here, what this is rly about, as i sense u shifting the debate goal posts.. per usual. its ~~immaterial what kasich's views on union rights are if he's sod. even if, say, he's inclined to keep the trans ban - which i dont think he would genuinely - he almost certainly would defer to biden. this is not the same thing as appointing someone like betsy devos as secretary of education. and anyhow, thats Literally what the vetting process is for. and if it brandishes biden's bipartisan/nostalgia persona in rust belt suburbs, great! (and, again, you yourself are opposed to a union that literally guarantees life insurance, disability benefits, and counseling services to like, 700,000+ american families. thats a separate debate but it underscores i think how delicate this stuff is irl.)

These are debates to be had in, like, January. Will Biden always earn progressive approval? no. Sometimes that will be his own doing, sometimes it'll be political circumstances, including augmented by progressive tactical overreach.
