my initial post was a response to grimace’s silly and ill-considered argument that i should only object to john kasich if he were truly a bad guy at heart, which is impossible to define and irrelevant. he tried to create a hierarchy of issues that doesn’t stand up to scrutiny. andy decided he’d be snotty and condescending about me as always. that’s all that happened. if i had taken a different stance he would have taken its opposite.

i agree but you have to admit, union busting is on a slippery slope given the vast issues with corruption and mob. its not the same moral equivalence as supporting gay + trans rights. im not diminishing it, ive done way more for union families than most here i assume, but its a different beast. and thats ok!

Not what I said lol I said to be disgusted to vote for joe for floating kasich is an overreaction not that you should be happy about kasich being floated for the cabinet like kasich is not an abhorrent GOP grifter trying to restore democracy no matter what you think about his policies and a democracy only functions with a minority government it’s absolutely okay for him to be anti union and look out for the wealthy He stood up for democracy over power which shows integrity Do I want him in charge of anything? No but he’s not a monster lol. He’s done his duties as an elected official based on things he’s run for. I would never vote for him but a functioning democracy requires a functioning minority party

well if biden wins, the voters will have decided on a party that (allegedly) believes in helping workers and not catering to the wealthy, so surely you can understand why those same voters would be miffed if someone who’s diametrically opposed is appointed to a high-ranking position
