because it seems to be the whole basis of your argument with res/Andy that voters are these rational actors that take in account job security & it’s a major factor that determines their vote choice. Again, it’s a large assumption that lacks evidence. Americans vote against their best interests all the d--- time, why are Exxon workers in Texas any different?

Like I think Andy’s correct now that all the points have been laid out, I don’t think king was correct in saying he had laid everything out whenever that last post about actual energy stats was the most compelling post yet and wasn’t made until after he and res insisted they had made their points

I don’t think trump is good my whole point is that there’s sensible reasoning beyond being assumed to be a dumb hick. I know it appears that way but I genuinely wasn’t trying to be obtuse— until a concrete counterpoint to my workforce concerns were laid out in front of me, I genuinely didn’t see how I could convince a rational like minded person with those talking points.

Ok ik and to be absolutely clear, my point is the biden camp has done a lot of outreach to middle and working class voters.
