    the so-called 'leftist' press put trump in power in the first place. their constant coverage of him made him a far more viable/popular candidate than he was at the start.

    It’s not weird at all, this guy is constantly flirting with the extremist wing of the party, winking at them while trying to pretend he believes the right thing for the cameras. I mean, look at it this way: if he truly in his heart of hearts believed the Proud Boys should be condemned, he’d do it in an instant, no hesitation. “Stand back and stand by” is basically the furthest possible thing from condemnation. When he tells you what he believes, believe him!!

    a better question would’ve been to ask what he would DO about the situation cause honestly words are just words. even as a supporter it’s like okay, if you wanna really explore his racism there’s ways to pick into that
