Jul 3, 2016 Man I am sorry to derail the thread but how the h--- did you make this bass, like, even in my PC speakers it bangs. I use Massive in Cubase, and I can make deep bass but only listenable if you have good speakers/headphones.
Jul 3, 2016 it's just some long 808 notes with some slides in FL that are distorted with various plugins, compressed and EQ'd to h--- and back
Jul 3, 2016 if it helps too @Rodamon, sometimes i put in the regular 808s in where it's just low bass for subs and then copy those notes to a duplicated 808, and transpose them up to a more audible range and eq and distort the second pair but cut their bass off, so you have one giving the bass, and then one giving you that high frequency, more audible distortion and slide sound

Jul 3, 2016 i've thought of doing it that way for a minute but didn't want to because i'm lazy lol and i'd also recommend Ohmicide for distortion too, it's what i use 100% of the time for distortion effects
