    If going plat holds so little weight that basically buying it is like no different than earning it in the current age then why would we even make threads about it?

    Either the fact jay went plat means nothing or what he did made this album going plat mean nothing

    because album sales will always be an irrelevant talking piece when it comes to the success of a music project.

    i have no problem with the way he did it, just to be clear. the dynamics of reaching platinum has changed is the point i was making.
