Here's a better example of my work. 50 Cent - High All The Time (Amsterdom Remix) Beat was made in Ableton using sample from a Bill Withers song called "Ruby Lee" I'll have the instrumental uploaded in a few days (to my hearthis.at profile) Glad to have found a new forum to share my work and talk about hip-hop with real fans. Aug 15, 2015 Yep, Soundcloud has taken down a few of my remixes due to copyright infringement (despite there being hundreds of other remixes of the same artists on SC). These take-downs come with strikes, and the strikes remove features on my profile (such as downloads) so Soundcloud has made their service useless to me.
Aug 15, 2015 Don't know the original song, but this is a fantastic. And I know this is slightly off topic but, what's your general opinion of Hearthis.at @Amsterdom? I've never heard of it/seen it till now, but it looks great and I'm already in the process of setting up an account. Seems like a great alternative to soundcloud, especially with all their lackluster updates and takedown bs lately...
Aug 15, 2015 All the claims were from Roc-a-fella. My Jay-Z and J Cole remixes were all taken down. So far Eminem and The Beatles have been hella nice to me it seems.

Has a lot more features for free users, and even more for premium, which I haven't got to the point of needing yet, as the free model uses it's self up in hopes that you'll get premium. My gripes are that I can't upload .wav files unless I'm a premium user, and the severe lack of user-base that Soundcloud already has. (My Medicine Man remix is #1 on the Hip-Hop chart this week) EDIT: AND it's #3 on the entire website lol
Aug 15, 2015 I feel like this site could easily rival and eventually surpass soundcloud if given the time, as people are already jumping ship due to a lot of their bs with copyright issues and bad quality streams. because a lot of people are starting to look for alternatives, and this site is setup WAY better than soundcloud with a lot more useful s--- it looks like. they just gotta wait it out I suppose

Remixing is where i started with music, i used to go by the name of ''Master C'', youtube & soundcloud have removed 99% of my remixes,so i feel your pain, I haven't made remixes in ages, here is my biggest mix: The vocals were terrible quality & the original pac song had no chorus, so i created a chorus using the last verse, id like to hear what you think. The reason i bring this up is, we should collab one day Please stick around man, & enjoy your stay
Aug 15, 2015 That mix is g.d. awesome! Most of my 'skill' comes from matching similar sounding pieces, but adding layers and instruments is something I still need to work on. Maybe I'll throw ya somethin in the future to see what you can add I have a LOT of unfinished loops lol
