Sep 13, 2015 Eminem was too busy rapping about farting while he's f---ing people on the Southpaw soundtrack to make this song.
Sep 13, 2015 I always thought "See You Again" would be suited to Em since he experienced a loss of a brother in Proof
Jan 13, 2016 "See You Again" is Wiz Khalifa's biggest hit to date. The song peaked at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 for twelve weeks. Along with Eminem's "Lose Yourself," the track became the longest-running number-one rap hit in the United States. Needless to say, Khalifa made the right choice by accepting DJ Frake E andCharlie Puth's production. However, some were not as intuitive in their selection of beats. Both Eminem and50 Cent passed on the song, possibly costing them one of their greatest charting hits. 50 Cent recently spoke with NFL quarterback Boomer Esiason and Craig Carton about his career and future. He told the pair that "See You Again" was a tribute to the late actor Paul Walker. Walker, who starred in the Fast and Furious franchise, died tragically in a car accident. The movie acted as a tribute to the deceased actor who died before the blockbuster was finished. "At the time we had to make a decision between doing [the soundtrack for the boxing movie Southpaw] and the song for Fast & Furious," 50 said, according to XXL. "And ["See You Again"] was a huge success for Wiz Khalifa and them. [Eminem] decided to do Southpaw because he was invested in the project." "See You Again" was written for the massively popular film Furious 7. The film was both a critical and commercial success, currently holding an 81% on Rotten Tomatoes. Furious 7 went on to earn $1.5 billion worldwide, making it the sixth-highest-grossing film of all time. It is fair to say that the success of the film contributed to the success of Khalifa's track. This mirror's Eminem's "Lose Yourself" which is also tied for the longest-running number-one rap hit in the United States. This single was bolstered by the popularity of Eminem's film, 8 Mile.
Jan 13, 2016 nah, Song wouldn't be as big. If it was that singing n----- & em then it would be BIGGER. But fiddy.. urm
Jan 13, 2016 I'm talking if it still had Charlie Puth on the chorus Wiz f---ing sucks and it still managed to be a huge hit Em could've done anything he wanted to and it still would've been a guaranteed hit
Jan 13, 2016 Something like best friend would've been cool But imagine that combined with the biggest artist in the world
Jan 13, 2016 As long we didn't get another "Talking to proof, dropping a deuce" line I would've been satisfied
