Dec 8, 2015 Yeah that's what i mean. He originally planned to drop it as a mixtape anyway. It's not his best work. He just wanted to make money off it which was a good move.
Dec 8, 2015 I think it was more to put his feet back in the water and see how it's received more than about making money. But yeah, it's far from being solo album quality. I think the lack of buzz Animal Ambition got and negative feedback might have been the reason why he delayed SKI.
Dec 8, 2015 Well releasing a song every week for the album was a terrible marketing move. The sales were decent though for an Indie release.
Dec 8, 2015 Word and he just ended up dropping all the best songs early, nothing that came on the full album later was worth keeping as far as I remember. I was done with AA before it even dropped.

Dec 8, 2015 AA had like 3 decent tracks on it, Irregular Heartbeat, Everytime I Come Around and Hold On. The Funeral was dope too but that was on the deluxe disc. The last project's i really enjoyed from Fif were, The Big Ten, Sleek Audio Mixtape and Street King Energy Mixtape, they were dope.
Dec 8, 2015 Yeah, they were much better tbh. The problem with 50 is that he gives away too many dope songs for free. He should save some of them for albums, Old 2001 Ferrari, Dial 911 could have been album tracks. Same with They Burned Me, Smile I'm Leaving.
Dec 8, 2015 While that may be more then some artists release its still a slow down from what he used to release. From 2002-2006 G-Unit alone released 27 mixtapes, thats almost at a pace of 7 mixtapes a year. Plus the G-unit Album, GRODT,GRODT Soundtrack and massacre all released in that time period. 50 used to just release music for he h--- of it, now he's really slowed down in comparison. For example after BISD in 09 he didn't release another project till 11, and in 13 he didn't release anything. Strictly comparing 50 now to 50 then hes slowed down.
Dec 8, 2015 Oh, true that. s---, i didn't even know G-Unit had released that many mixtapes. But as far as the number of releases, it's probably because he's getting older and doesn't have the same fuel and passion he had back then.
