Our nation's murder capital is the city with the highest gun laws. On average more people were dying of ILLEGALLY OBTAINED guns in Chicago than soldiers were dying in Iraq. And all of these guns were purchased through black market. It's not a hypothetical it doesn't f---ing work literally all you have to do is actually look at the places where they tried it.

What you don't realize is that mass shootings are done by CRIMINALS AND TERRORISTS, not law abiding citizens. Criminals and terrorists won't follow gun laws. Gun control won't stop their desire to do harm. Strict gun laws only hurt law abiding citizens. If strict gun laws curb mass shootings, then go ahead and tell me how well Chicago and New York are doing.

If you only apply it at a city/state level it maybe doesn't work because they just get their guns in another state and then sell it through black market?

Yeah and if they outlaw it on a federal level all the guns are gonna magically disappear and all the gun runners are gonna get a 9 tk 5 at dairy queen right?

Once again, this is done by criminals. And a good portion of black markets guns are sold through international markets.

No, I know you can't forbid all the guns at once, that wouldn't work and would just create a lot of fun dealers. We're also talking about stricter gun laws, not forbidding everything with bullets tomorrow.

Well thats not how our country works, these things work out at a state level. You can't apply certain laws to all the states and think that it would work. Every state is different. this is why common core is also r-----ed. You dumb liberals think big govt is the way to go. People will make bad decisions if they want to, if someone wants a f---ing gun theyre going to get a gun and gun control has nothing to do with that

Strict gun laws are already in place in most of the country except for the most conservative.

Well not strict enough apparently since the numbers of gun shootings are crazy high compared to every other western country

And you can't justify those completely crazy numbers just by saying America has more of a gun culture it'd be completely irrational

I mean, dude, this entire post is wrong. Even if handguns are subsequently purchased through third parties, they make it to Chicago legally. And of course local municipal gun laws don't work, for that reason.

You want to look at hard data about the relationship between gun prevalence and gun crimes? Look at countries that have federal gun control vs. the US. That's the test.

Australia mass shootings since gun control = 0

And don't gimme "but guns are embedded in our culture!" How do you think Australia was colonized? Aboriginals were f-----, guns were 100% necessary in Australia's colonization, for our country to be what it is today. You heard of Ned Kelly? The guy who was shooting s--- up in the 1800's withe the world's first bulletproof vest. Aussie icon literally because guns couldn't stop him.

    Gun control laws are;
    -Less guns manufactured
    -Less ammo manufactured
(So over an extended period it's less accessible - sorry I have to be condescending and spell it out for you like this)
-Strict rules and regulations with owning firearms (THEY WILL NOT TAKE YOUR GUNS. you lazy c---- will just have to go to a gun range once a month (god forbid) to prove to have some kind of interest in guns and you don't just want one for s----s n gigs)

This will reduce the mass shootings over time. Yeah still possible to buy guns illegally - it's not important though. The important thing is you have 150 mass shootings per year and do nothing but go "oh my soft c--- and prayers go out to them" over social media when the priority should be lowering that number, even if it's 1 less shooting per year, it's still reduced why would you not want that?

This just proves you're on some enormous bs, gun ownership declined and gun shootings declined in the US, the states with the most guns are the state's with the most shootings and the states with the strictest gun laws aren't at all the state's with the most gun killings

No. This is not true. This is flatly, unambiguously false.
