Jun 12, 2016 That is exactly the problem lol. The fact that people want to have weapons in their house is weird to me. So many shootings, while in non gun countries it doesn't happen as much. What is the cause then, you guys have more f----- up people.. or?
Jun 12, 2016 Nah, Skippy isn't like that. He came around in the sexual assault thread because he took the time to read and consider other opinions. Maybe he'll do the same here, I dunno. But it won't be because I said so.
Jun 12, 2016 I'm actually glad to see that it's not just non americans like you me and coco say it and also an american (wpg)
Jun 12, 2016 Yeah but he was talking like only internet kids from Europe are against guns in America and that every documented person in the United States knows guns are necessary for the culture
Jun 12, 2016 True. I'm not an expert when it comes to this at all, that's why I asked. It just seems so weird to me to find it normal to have guns in your house lol. In Holland if you want a gun you can also get on, sure.. but every idiot walking around with a gun is just, I don't get it
Jun 12, 2016 Nearly half of the illegal weapons obtained from the streets of Chicago trace back to out of county/state locations. Chicago isn't an island. It's not inside a vaccum. Gun laws work when they are enacted and enforced on a federal level. We've seen it throughout Europe. The whole "gun culture" argument is so weak. Also, enacting common sense gun control legislation won't reduce gun violence in the United States now. But 10,15, 20 years down the line? That's when the benefit will be clear. As you pointed out, there's tons of firearms already in circulation in the United States. If we tighten the loop holes that allow weapons to get on the street, we won't have as many.
Jun 12, 2016 you guys should take into account the age of people you argue with about topics such as gun control
Jun 12, 2016 For the record, yes, guns are deeply embedded in many aspects of American culture. But..................that's bad. Slavery used to be a part of American culture.
Jun 12, 2016 gun control has worked in almost every country in the world, i dunno why people arguing its effectiveness lol "oh they can still get it" no s---,..the point is to make it hard and to serve a long time just for having it with you... if drugs was being sold in the supermarket it would be easier to get, so why make it illegal?
Jun 12, 2016 Yeah it's like saying "killing gays in Pakistan is okay because it's a part of the culture and even if we forbid it some people will still k--- gays", wtf
Jun 12, 2016 treating maids/drivers as slaves been part of my culture for very long time thats been changing drastically in the last 5 years...good for us !
Jun 12, 2016 First of all, US citizens need to lose the idea that they 'need guns to protect theirselves'. What enigma said /discussion I guess
Jun 12, 2016 I hope this isn't somebody from a radicalized community and it's just a deranged idiot who took it upon himself to murder fifty people.
Jun 12, 2016 what @Coco said is so right, did anybody ever raise up to the occasion and John McClane'd the situation? i mean having guns did help zimmerman
