Jun 12, 2016 No cops take advantage of the system and make up reasons and plant evidence to s---t un armed victims. Some cops are just too lazy to run after robbers so they s---t instead. There's nothing wrong with people keeping guns in their homes to be prepared to save their families lives one day. Just don't be narrow minded about all this. We just need to have more in depth background checks for gun purchase. For example, if a Muslim acting suspicious is trying to buy a gun and the background check shows they just recently got back from the Middle East I would put the sale on hold until they are investigated and check on their affiliations and recent contacts. This would help keep guns getting into the wrong hands, until they found a black market connect or learned to use the deep web.
Jun 12, 2016 Down in the south, there were incidents where armed civilians (like guys in this photo) would stand across the street from mosques and would just watch people as they exited the mosque because they felt that "Muslims can't be trusted." After today's incident, there's probably going to more of this happening sadly...

It's also naive to think that someone who buys it for protection doesn't develop mental problems later or, short of that, get drunk and s---t his wife or some dude he argues with at a bar. And frankly, I don't give a f--- if you like going to the gun range. That's not more important than the safety and lives of innocent people. You can kindly miss me with that. Jun 12, 2016 Dude, this is just an assumption. Its naive to think that gun owners would do any of that. I know plenty that don't. Furthermore, people who are going to do that are way more likely to do it with an illegally purchased gun. The gun range actually is important, its important for my shot to be on point when I go hunting with my folks, if you were really for keeping people safe, then you wouldn't want to put innocent people at risk by taking their 2nd amendment away. I just said that, based on your pro Hillary position, we wont have much common ground, so i dont know what the point is of continuing this. but I do agree with extended background checks. I just think its hard to sometimes determine if someone has mental issues before they do something - and to me, its unfair to punish ALL gun owners because of some sick minded f---s.. To me, it is hard to establish legislation that would benefit both people for and against guns, hence why we are in the position we are in
