I guess we could rewind 40 years and go back to beating up hispanics wearing zoot suits? What the f--- do you want me to say?
You can pretend progress hasn't been made but that's simply a lie so I don't know why you keep pushing it.

The Trump comment... he will always have supporters because it's been 8 years of liberal buildup and the extreme republican caricature that Trump represents is appealing to these people. You can only be absorbed in an agenda for so long before you search for an exit. Yes that means his crazy racist comments and everything with it... you can only shove white privilege talk down peoples throats before they start to object. At some point when you keep hearing the same thing, you tune out. That doesn't mean they are racist... it means they are tired of hearing that s---. It's easy to narrow his supporters down to "racist white people" but it's a really narrow-minded way of looking at things. His supporters would support anyone that objects the current system... it just happens to be a crazy man that offends everyone. If Trump didn't make racist comments, he would win the presidency without a doubt... because he's such a drastic change from the Social Justice Warriors that we have now ... his foreign policy f----- up too but that's another issue. It's a really bad sign because we have many many domestic issues and we are focused on one. Hillary on the other hand attempts to please everyone and I'm not voting for someone that believes in pixie dust. We need actual solutions, not this "boy I know we can come together" bs. It comes off as fake. She doesn't believe in what she's "fighting" for. She wants the votes and says whatever it is that will get those votes. I don't trust anyone that is apart of a "group". Be yourself and have your own goals. Then again the same can be said for Trump... he's just getting the votes of people that think "oh yea make america great again sounds dope".

So we basically have 1 person that wants your vote and adjusts her campaign to acquire it.
And 1 person that wants all the other peoples votes that don't vote for her^

It's becoming a "minorities vote for Hillary and white people vote for Trump"

I think the fact that America has to choose between Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton to be our leader is a much bigger sign of doom than the actual election.
Seriously... we are picking between them? Of all the f---ing people in the country.... it's down to these 2? Fit to lead us? Wow.

No thanks... I'd take another Obama term over that bs.

I won't be voting because I feel dirty voting for Trump and if I vote for Hillary I'm backing someone that thinks I'm evil.

American politicians are a joke. It's basically a reality TV show 24/7 and you don't really get a choice. Extreme vs Extreme.

Also let it be know... regardless of who becomes president... Trump or Hillary, nothing will change.

There won't be some magical moment where black people suddenly stop getting shot and there won't be a magical moment where woman suddenly aren't sexualized. Life will continue the same way it always has. No wall is going to be built. You aren't going to be put in a camp. It's f---ing ridiculous. Your life isn't going to change unless you do something about it yourself. The president won't save you. Life goes on. You might pay more in taxes, that's about it.

We spend months talking about issues that candidates talk about... just to spend more months talking about it after they get elected.

Too much stock is placed on the leader of a country that is ran by it's people.

Yeah, I would like everyone talking about "the black market" for guns to describe to me what they think that looks like.

@WPG You don't believe that mental health plays a dominant role in "gun control"? A simple yes or no will suffice.

This is like a parody of a Final post :'( :'(

Your first sentence doesn't mean anything. Do I believe that mental health plays a dominant role in gun control? That's not a coherent thought.

If you're asking me whether I believe mental health issues lead to people committing violent acts, sure--but the ready availability of guns is what gives those people the ability to k--- mass numbers of people.

The act of buying the weapons is pretty easy

The consequences that might lead to that is a different history but that wasn't WPG's point I believe

No need for movies I'm from there koolo lol, most of the weapons are sold cheap and stolen from the police

Some countries like Colombia have strict gun policies and are still flooded with violence

    http://www.as-coa.org/articles/explainer-gun-laws-latin-americas-six-largest-economies

Don't get me started with other poorer nations

Vice has some decent documentaries about it
