Jun 12, 2016 I'm giving the viewpoint of why guns are so popular here. You could take guns away tomorrow and my life would not change whatsoever. So if that would actually solve the problem, then I'm all for it. I just don't believe it will. You wanna take guns away from people that believe it's their RIGHT to own one. It becomes a whole other issue... these people live lifestyles that revolve around owning guns... they hunt, they fish, they live a life that is "old school" or whatever word you want to use. It's not something you can simply "take away". They believe guns are a direct way of protecting their lives. I don't know how else to say it.
