    It happens when you get to the point he has. There's always gonna be hype beasts & haters, the truth is usually somewhere in the middle. 2014-15 was an experimental time for him. In his own words IYRTITL was a "palate cleanser". I fully expect him to be back in his lane for VF6, which I think will be a more advanced/updated version of SFG.

    How am I derailing the thread? I was talking about Drake and since I said something you guys didn't like about him, you all got upset like typical Drake stans. Inbred? Great insult m8 lollllllllll

    I hope Views is good but I just don't have any high expectations for it. I'm really expecting it to be average but if 2015 was just experimental like you said, then I'll own up to being wrong. At this point we're just going to have to wait for the release.

    He's still got the benefit of the doubt for me. He's shown he's aware of what people like or don't like. I remember him saying something to Ernest Baker about his 1st weekend performance at Coachella being underwhelming and knowing he had to be better. “I took an L for the first time. I just have to reassess what went wrong with my judgment.”

    Are you guys really that dense? Please explain to me one way that I was derailing

    He's definitely self aware. I feel that when Views drops, it's gonna be based off hype and will eventually lack replay value. Like I said before though, I'm pretty much going into this album expecting an average album, let's see if he proves me wrong.

    Agree to disagree I guess. I think he'll deliver like he usually does. His only misstep of the last few years music wise is WATTBA.
