    People who still had faith in Shady Records did, when 50 used Straight To The Bank as a first single I thought Kanye had a run for his money but then Amusement Park happened right when Kanye dropped Can't Tell Me Nothing/Stronger...

    Not sure why people rate this album at the bottom of his discography. Comfortably above Yeezus and 808s imo.

    I agree. It changed rap because this was basically the passing of the torch. From 50, Em, Jay-Z, etc, the veterans who dominated hip-hop for the first half of the decade, to the new generation: Kanye, Wayne, Drake, etc. It also showed a shift style wise, away from gangsta rap to today's modern sound.
