i dont really like to compare 808s to thugger

808s is an intellectual album that takes a conscious art direction and tells a story, while thugger projects is him and his personality with no real concept behind it

with that said tho, 808s is a flawless 10/10 while i cant say the same for any thugger project.. b6 is rly close tho

808s is daring, standout, gamechanging, fkn masterpiece; untouchable compared to Thugs work, which is solid, but yea even his better s---, even his best s--- (Barter 6 imo) still doesn't even come remotely close to 808s. s--- im pretty sure Thugs peak album is still yet to come.

808s. It flows perfectly, i don't think any thug albums really do that yet.

Also, anyone heading to the pablo tour hoping he does some 808s cuts? When i saw the yeezus tour in Philly he did Street Lights, it was awesome. This time around i'm hoping for robocop, love lockdown or welcome to heartbreak.

Edit: 808s also gave birth to this epic freestyle

If you think Thug is a clone of anyone you've obviously never listened to his music. If anything Wayne has been taking cues from Thug since S4TW2

808s for sure but that's because it's a pretty easy contender for top 10 rap album of all time (or will be in time.) Thug hasn't even had a debut album yet so I think the argument's pretty one-sided. That being said there's probably an albums worth of thug songs that are easily as good quality-wise as 808s.

Strange comparison since Thug has no official studio album. But Tha Tour >>> 808s.

why does that even mean anything in 2016 f---ing mixtapes have bigger budgets and impact than studio albums its only a question of distribution

only reason why b6 isnt considered a "studio album" is b/c it didnt get released as hard copy, so its a digital album

but if u say debut album then 9/10 ppl will consider b6 his debut

Been mentioned for the last 2 years that HiTunes in Thug's debut album thats the difference. Much different releasing singles & having a promo run that just randomly dropping a mixtape out the blue even in 2016.
