    I agree with that last bit--seems like he's regressed as a vocalist, even from the last album to this one. Was curious about it, but I assume it ties in with him writing more.

    All of those joints sound the exact same to me, which is my issue with it.

    Views at least has range and contrast (from Still Here to One Dance to U With Me).

    IYRT didn't have enough of those moments, which I guess considering how lazy that project was, doesn't come as a surprise.

    I wasn't huge on this album on the first listen, but by the third listen I realized that this is the exact album that I wanted from Drake...I'm not sure what else I should expect from the guy?

    I don't expect Drake to be as animated as most contemporaries but it really was just dry. There wasn't any sense of urgency or insecurity that normally you'd expect from an occasion like what Views was built up to be. I think that's where I find the biggest fault, it was supposed to be a moment but it never manifested.

    if this was like a 13 track album that focused on cuts like Controlla, One Dance, Too Good etc d like it a lot more.

    @Mike Tyson ignore like the transitions or whatever cuz all i did was take out expendable tracks/tracks i didnt like but what if the tracklist was this:

    It's probably because his "personal" music has no shred of authenticity left in it, it's pop music. There's no cuts as deep as Look What You've Done, or any music about anything outside of a fleeting relationship.

    Maybe that's why it's not connecting with some people.

    this is one of the reason i have cited many times before on why i have lost interest in Drake. there is nothing genuine or authentic about his music to me now.
