I don't like the title track because it's a 30 for 30 rehash and I miss 9, it kicks off the album well after the slow intro. I miss the PND collab too.

    I like this tho.

There was a similar thread about this but just with 10 tracks

    My list...

    1. Weston Road Flows
    2. U With Me?
    3. Feel No Ways
    4. Faithful
    5. With You
    6. Controlla
    7. One Dance
    8. Too Good
    9. Summers Over Interlude
    10. Views

Starts and finishes with him rapping his a--- off and the rest of the album is more R&B/Reggae :views:

I mean to me IYRT was Drake exploring one specific sound and passing off aping other people's work as playing around with delivery in the same way that makes Future's and Thug's spontaneity so endearing. Of course we know now it's not actually Drake doing anything impressive but I can suspend my disbelief enough to enjoy pretty much every track. On Views I haven't even slogged far into the second disc because Drake's little Taco Bell Sauce Packet bars (as @WPG hilariously put it) and emotionless delivery don't make for an entertaining listen. It worked on parts of IYRT like My Side because that saddened tone coupled with those beats perfectly conveyed that depressing, in your feels feeling. On Views he sounds kind of walled-off and stiff, so parts where it should be poignant are just stale. I like select cuts off the album and almost every song has at least thirty seconds where they make something work really well, but Views, imo, suffers from a combination of uninspired and just poor execution on pretty much every level.

The thing is though, there's nothing wrong with that. I get that he dresses them up as something deeper, and that's why people have an issue with it, but the music is still great all things considered.

I'm not saying he's the second coming of Nas, but this album is great through out and if we're caught up on his lack of authenticity in regards to his relationships, we're going to miss that fact.

I'm lite skin tho so all these anthems are tailor made for my life, Im the type of guy to fall in love with the lady who takes my order at Starbucks and spells my name on the cup right.

See the thing is, hype is gonna be my most played track aside from one dance and controlla but my "vision" for this album involves him NOT trying to re hash every style he's ever used and rather focus on the new vibes

And in that case, tracks like 9 hype pop style Grammys etc don't fit

Why is he still closing all his albums on the same long winded journal entry?

But also @Mike Tyson I remember irl a lot of people weren't f---ing with IYRT and other than Know Yourself and a few other joints it took a bit for it to grow on people, and this could be the same way. I feel like on the forum everyone went from dissapointed to having it click to disliking it once drake sxn regulars started being annoying in the same vein as Eminem and Kendrick stans. I could definitely see this growing on me because I think Drake's great at making near-classic projects that suffer because they're made by Drake and right now mine and in general the only issues with Views are nitpicks at Drake (which leads to my theory that TC is only put on a pedestal because people already had their expectations lowered and in all reality the only thing it has above the rest of his career is cohesiveness, but I digress.)
