How many hours a day are you writing/recording?

TL/DR Average 1-2 hours writing, longer in certain cases (includes editing/rehearsing). Average 1 hour recording, I've rehearsed a bunch by this time but I try to get multiple takes, then another hour for mixing. Not recording everyday because of projects, and life, unless I want to do half hearted stuff (No point then haha).

Are you just curious? Well anyways, I am not planning to record everyday, but I'm definitely writing everyday. It normally takes me a few hours in total, 1-2 to write/edit/rehearse my verse (I wrote to a 2min verse on a beat and it took much longer haha). I spend a good hour or so to rehearse my verse after in order to develop my delivery over time, then it's smooth sailing in the recording process. Normally 2 or more hours doing this, I average 3. I could do it faster, but I'm working on improving, not speed releases haha.

Obviously my recordings wont come out as well as they could because of me doing it the day of, but I've only been rapping for a year and a half, a veteran can do what I do in the fraction of the time. I'm trying to get to that point one day.

On the brief days I take breaks from recording, I spend time just freestyling or rhyming with my favorite artists trying to match everything they do (emotion, tone, speed, pronunciation), or analyzing lyrics. This two day break I did was to work on a track for a collaboration project, and to work on some other collab tracks I need more time to spend on. +I have my birthday party to attend lol.
