Nov 11, 2016 Oh man, get The Low End Theory NOW! haha. People talk about Midnight Marauders being a classic (it is) but I enjoy The Low End Theory more. Both are excellent!
Nov 11, 2016 I remember back in 2002 or 2003 K-Os was on Much Music (He's a Canadian rapper if you don't recall) and he was playing his top 5 favourite tracks. He played Jazz (We've Got) and I loved it. I tried to buy the album at a local HMV but they didn't have any tribe. So the next time I was in Minneapolis (basically my 2nd home at the time) I picked it up and love it. It's one of my all time favourite albums (The Low End Theory).
Nov 11, 2016 There's also this gem from Midnight Marauders I rediscovered this summer. Phife rhymes so smooth over it. The beat is excellent.
Nov 11, 2016 This is really good. I truthfully didnt become a fan of them until i saw that documentary that dropped around 2007 (?) But ever since then ive been a huge fan and absolutely love midnight marauders and low end theory. This album captures that spirit perfectly and also has a new feel at the same time. The beats are so tribe that its perfect. Also all the features fit so well.
Nov 11, 2016 This is really really good and gets better with each listen, Tip really is a genius. Start with Low End Theory and Midnight Marauders then go chronologically from their first album.
Nov 11, 2016 Staying true to their sound but with a modern touch. Best way to describe this album imo. Amazing. Gr8 features too
Nov 11, 2016 I wasn't expecting this album to be as good as it is. What an amazing way to end a classic groups discography.
Nov 11, 2016 I own all of their previous albums. I have yet to hear this new one, so far I've only heard snippets. I'm waiting until the physical copies are released before I give it a proper listen (yes, I still buy albums).
